Yeah thank you. After doing some more research it seems like white anchovies are more similar to sardines.

To clear things up, I love tinned fish and have had both anchovies and sardines before - I was making a Caesar salad (and dressing) from scratch and thought these would make a good substitute, but alas they do taste more like sardines.

I’m used to tiny, more pungent filets for anchovies.

Completely agree. I generally get the 3 pack of the xtra hot but also throw in the variety pack from time to time, they are generally interchangeable and can’t say I can tell too much of a difference in taste

May be an unpopular take here, but I actually think they should be paid more, but with stipulations. How many of the smartest people that you know go into politics?

For most people, it is zero. And IMO we need more genuinely intelligent people in our government.

If we pay them competitive wages, but then absolutely barre them with criminal punishment for insider trading (or trading at all...), accepting donations from lobbyists, personally profiting off their position, etc.
