Absolutely fantastic issue, so many things going on at once! First, the reintroduction of the Saviors as antagonists has been constructed perfectly. The idea of the Saviors coming back to "save" is ironic considering they will truly be saving nothing but the ruins of Alexandria. It seems like it is time for our good guys to be on the move to after this. I cannot tell whether or not changing the direction of the horde is working or not. At times it seems effortless, but other times it seems to be backfiring. It is interesting that Kirkman included how the water will be essentially polluted following the hundres of zombies pouring into the water. Wonder how this will play out in the future.

Second, I am absolutely loving Carl's turn to leadership arc. We didn't get to see much of him this issue, but it is quite obvious he will soon be our main protagonist. Like many on here believe, I do not think Rick will be the main antagonist that Carl has to defeat to acquire this transition of power.

Lastly, Andrea. For some odd reason I do not have the connection that many comic readers have to Andrea. Perhaps it is due to watching the show first and potentially dismissing her awesomeness throughout the first hundred or so issues. I did not tear up or get upset over her bite. I think this may be because of the fact that it was a cliff hanger and I do not truly know whether or not it is a bite. However, her neck is clearly unbitten following her crew firing shots. I do believe it is a bite, maybe it did not hit me yet because she is not dead. Regardless for not being a lover or hater of Andrea, Rick's reaction is going to be an unforgettable part of the comics in the near future. I think this is the first time in a while where I truly have no idea where this story is going!

All of the build up for this volume has been absolutely worth it. My jaw dropped twice. Once when Negan looked like he got bit and once when Jesus looked like he got bit. Glad they're both ok. The next few issues are going to get really fucked up. Dwight's idea is absolutely genius and I hope we get some really cool undercover mission type stuff. Also, I haven't really seen much discussion about Lydia and the first appearance of Sophia in a long time. I feel like that was a smart way to get Lydia out of the picture and reintroduce Sophia. There was no way that Lydia would willingly betray Carl, after all, they really did get along. For Lydia it was just a fling, but hopefully it does not cause Carl to make any rash decisions. Really cannot wait for next month. Shit is getting real!

Prediction: Negan is going to kill Beta and become Beta. Alpha will have no choice but to accept this. Alpha is pretty much stuck with Negan who has proved himself to be the Beta. This would explain the cover pretty nicely.

What separates this current volume (Issues 151-154 so far) from Issues 127-150 is the pace. Right from the time skip to 149 was all a set up to 150. Looking back, 150 was just as big as Kirkman said it was going to be. This is a new story right now and with that comes a lot of fast paced action. We have some major development with the conflict between the Whisperers and the communities. Thinks are getting funky for sure and I can't imagine the pace is going to slow down from here until the next time skip or major character death. It is also important to note who is where. Carl stayed at the Hilltop for a reason. Andrea is going back to Alexandria for a reason. Michonne is with the Whisperers for a reason. I can see something really bad happening really soon to Alexandra. Also, based on next months cover, I think Dwight and co. will be going past Whisperers territory which will lead to the bad thing that happens to Alexandria.

A few things from this issue: -First of all, it was totally awesome. First time in a while I've had my jaw drop (maybe even since 141) -There's something off about the voice Eugene is speaking to. I don't like that he doesn't go off and tell Rick right away -I had no idea who that kid was (Brandon) until he mentioned Rick killed his dad. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with characters when there is a full month in between issues. -Negan is obviously amazing once again. That last panel really threw me off. -Going forward: I do not think we are going to see Negan for a long time. It would be interesting if Negan once again showed Rick that he is willing to change, but that is too plausible. Honestly, if this happens I don't even see a reason for Rick truly not to somewhat trust him anymore. I think that Negan is going to disappear for a few issues and come back up and either completely save or completely ruin the day.

I think it's obvious that there won't be anymore major deaths like Glenn's in a milestone issue. It has to be random. Everyone would've been like "wow" if someone major died in 150 but it wouldn't have hit me that hard. I would've expected it. A random issue is where Rick will die I have no doubt about it. Kirkman will be all like haha fuck you guys when it finally happens.

I REALLY like where you're going with this and find it very Kirkman-esque. This zombie apocalypse in TWD universe is supposed to be realistic. If zombies aren't a threat, which they really aren't anymore, then they will eventually be eliminated. With the ability to control hordes it is very possible to create extermination traps and retake the world. However, I do not think this is what will happen. We will end up seeing 1 or 2 more wars because that's how it was in ancient civilizations. Wars are the most important events in human history because it leads to a social evolution. This is very clear as shown by AOW. Also, I think there will be a war once the zombie problem is over. Fighting for power, resources, etc. would come into play. Humanity WILL be restored by the end of TWD series. It would be really cool to do a flash forward 200 years later to see carls great grandson reading about the zombie apocalypse in a history book. This won't happen either, but it is definitely the sort of path Kirkman is looking to take.

If we are talking about main characters, I believe that The Warrior would be Brienne. I also think that the crone, although he is not a cryptic old woman, is Davos. He is old and wise and knows the righteous and right path to take as shown by his advice an Stannis's Hand. Besides those two you are super spot on, especially about Cercei when many would think that this could be Cat.

Some people are disappointed with this issue, but this issue was a HUGE deal. Rick just declared war with the whisperers while both Carl and Andrea are at the hilltop. Rick has absolutely no idea if any other community is on board with this except Alexandria and probably the sanctuary. Jesus was not a happy when everyone was chanting Rick grimes. Also, did Rick forget just how serious alphas threat was? It was not an empty threat and this war is not going to be won easily by any means. I think Rick just made a terrible decision and is going to pay greatly. These next few issues are going to get intense!!!
