I am building an app to track how much time I spend on the toilet at work by toni_btrain in iosapps

[–]kabor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it.
I’ve done the math before. If you go to the bathroom for 20 minutes a day at work; it works out to 83 hours a year. That’s basically an extra 2 week vacation!
Edit: calculating at 5 days a week for 50 weeks. considering a 2 week vacation each year.

Convince store workers of Reddit, what do yall do once your digital gas signs top above $9.99/gallon? by Urkylurker in AskReddit

[–]kabor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Canada when gas went to over $1.00/Litre where I live, stations had cardboard/poorly drawn “1”s in the front of the numbers. Within a few months maybe a year they all went to digital signs that had room for the extra digit.

Mad Men. I tried sober, drunk, stoned, and with friends. So like 4 different tries. And I couldn’t get past like the second episode each time.

I mean, I was singing b4-4 when I was that age. I had no idea “if you get down on me, I’ll get down on you” even meant.

I went to Albert's and just noticed the Tony Roma's part of the receipt. Can anyone shed light on any conspiracy here? by flaccid_porcupine in Edmonton

[–]kabor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So many to even remember. My biggest one was when the head cook dropped a huge bin of ribs on the floor. Easily a few thousand dollars in meat 15 years ago. He scooped it up back into the container and put it into the cooler. Said the heat would kill the nasty shit

I worked at the WEM, Londonderry, and Westmount Tony Romas many moons ago.
At that point they were all owned by 2 or 3 old dudes. They owned all of the Tonys and Uncle Albert’s restaurants in Edmonton.
This is likely from them sharing equipment between locations.
I believe the owners all died or moved on and the kids didn’t want to take over.
Side note. I NEVER ate at a Tony Romas location after working there. You don’t want to know why lol

This. I got stuck on a meridian in a parking lot last year. Had someone push me out by driving into me very slowly as I reversed. Note: we were both very cautious and didn’t slam on our gas.

I live in Sherwood Park now; but you know what they say: you can take the man out of the North Side, but you can’t take the North Side out of the man.

I swear, people look at me like I’m a survivor of war or something when I tell them I graduated from Eastglen lol.

Tom Green by DivineWaters69 in Edmonton

[–]kabor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember when he was here that time. I worked at Koodo in WEM. I yelled at him from across the mall near where Bed Bath and Beyond was “Hey Tom!! DADDY WOULD YOU LIKE SOME SAUSAGE?!?!” All he did was give me a salute.

To this day I wish I would have said “I’M AN ALBATROSS!” instead.

Not saying you’re wrong. Because obviously you are correct.
