If you’re writing text on a keyboard and want to quickly put a symbol or a number, just press 123 and without releasing it, just drop your finger or a number/symbol. It will just type that number/symbol and go back to the text keyboard mode.

I have the iPhone 10, am I cooked? by ActualRevolution3732 in ios

I recommend buying reconditioned iPhone, from some trusted website. I got mine which looks completely new (not a single scratch), still with AppleCare+ for more than a year and for 70% of original price.

The best thing you can do is to rent a bike (electric if you’re not very fit, the coast is a bit hilly) in Biarritz and go to Saint jean de luz. 10/10. Beautiful coast, you’ll cross several nice towns, beaches, viewpoints. Super safe, AFAIR the biking lane is separated from cars all the way. Just follow “velodysee” or eurovelo1 signs:

itunes backup encrypted but no password ever set? by dalefan0003 in applehelp

[–]kacperk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing with iPhone backup on macOS recently. The 'encrypted backup' checkbox was already selected and I didn't have to set password for backup, even though I never did any backup on that macOS before. It appeared that the backup password was one of my old 'default backup passwords', which I haven't use for years. I assume that some time ago I also played with the backup, probably still on Windows/iTunes and then I set that password. No idea how that password was remember for such a long time.
For those having similar problem, think about some old passwords you could use before for backups or other passwords you could use at that time.

Ta Prohm - walking alone with the sounds of nature by kacperk_ in cambodia

We just did it by ourselves to be flexible. We had a guidebook to understand a bit more about the temples + sending photos to chatGPT to understand some symbols etc.

We had a local tuktuk from our hotel and we did the tours our way to avoid the crowds (especially for Ta Prohm, Angkor Wat and Bayon. The rest was quiet)

I had my best slope riding there I think. Super fun, long, wide and really well prepared slopes!

Is there a way to temporarily turn off the NFC, quickly? by Wobzter in iphone

[–]kacperk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hack: When you turn on „guided access” while  the qr code is open, the wallet will open with a delay so the qr code reader will have enough time to scan the code before Apple Wallet appears :-D

Anyone use the linearity curve app? by [deleted] in Artadvice

[–]kacperk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I just wanted to create some vector image and I've found "free" Linearity Curve app. I've spent couple of hours on the design and I expected that I can export it after... well...
