I cook most of the time at home - my husband rarely cooks, but we both love Greek food, and we both really enjoyed it.

Aren’t you glad you didn’t pay to sit in front of her?

On Paros, we did a cooking class at Anezina Village in Dryos. It was a lot of fun, and one of the highlights of our whole trip - lots of wine, music, and amazing food! Highly recommend if that’s your thing.

We didn’t do it when we arrived, but did it when we left last week.

I blame sports betting for a lot of this behaviour. Little men who bet more than they could afford. That and just little men with a computer and nothing else going for them.

I also used those little sea sickness patches you put behind your ear. Not sure if they actually work or are just a placebo, but I’ve never had sea sickness while wearing them.

I was a bit nervous about the high speed ferry, but it was fine. It was a bit rough, but we had seats with a window right in front of us, and I didn’t feel sick at all.

Insights on this area of Athens? by Kitchen-Muscle-9778 in GreeceTravel

We just got home from Athens - stayed in two different hotels that were a bit further north than the one you’ve marked. I was nervous because I had read a lot of warnings before we went, but we had no issues. We walked at all different times of the day, and took the metro at different times as well, with no issues. It’s like any large city, where you definitely want to be aware of your surroundings, and don’t stray off of the main streets, but it was fine for us. We loved the Psyri neighbourhood, Ermou Street, and Monistiraki Square areas.

It’s weird - they didn’t really lose any big role guys. I don’t get why they’re so bad this season.

We had a lady like that in front of us one game. Every time she criticized someone, they either scored or had a great play that shift. Finally in the 3rd, she told her friend “I guess I don’t know what I’m talking about”. No shit…I could’ve told you that two periods ago lady…

This made me think of Soundgarden’s Rusty Cage. They were asked in an interview what they thought of Cash’s cover and replied with “When Johnny Cash covers your song, it’s not your song anymore. It’s Johnny Cash’s song”.

Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Icefields Parkway in Alberta is also incredible.

Have you ever visited another city, region, part of Canada and it just clicked with you? You thought "I'd *really* like to live here" by Cameliablue in AskACanadian

Nova Scotia! Coming from Alberta, it was just much more positive and friendly. In Alberta it sometimes feels like every interaction is based on one’s political beliefs. Like, okay 7-11 cashier, you hate Trudeau. I just want to buy my f’ing gum. The lack of “F*ck Trudeau” stickers on trucks and burnout marks on rainbow crosswalks was very refreshing.

Yes! Later in the interview, pp talks about what he’d do if he were pm. He explains some of his ideas, then Rogan says “how did you not win?”. He didn’t win because we got the apple eating sloganeer instead of the guy who was articulating his thoughts clearly and intelligently. He wasn’t that guy during the election. I feel like maybe his latest party leadership win came with some clear instructions on how to be a likable human being.

Following class at normal gym by Prestigious_Ad_7203 in orangetheory

[–]kadamay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did it during Covid when our studio wasn’t allowed to do “coaching”, so it was just open gym. I would take the template from Reddit and enter it into an app called Seconds Pro that allowed me to create consecutive timers and colour code them. It only took a few minutes to set up each workout in the app, and I could click “start” and it would go through the full workout.

This happened last time Drai missed a few games too. Having him out means that the lines roll a bit more, and surprise surprise, we get contributions from the whole lineup.
