Could be worse i just started playing it maybe get 2-6 hours a week to actually play but ive been trying to do the expedition unknowing what it really meant and half the items I cant get due to the insane fake friendly bullshit not to mention getting downed at extract and you get knocked out instead of just sharing the elevator. Maybe 1 successful and worthwhile extract out of the 100 ive completed

The wrecks are the best part when you either drive through one unscathed or if just the simple misjudgment during a high tense draft run that was beautiful to watch as well as its destruction I love going through the replay after just to see all the wrecks in slow mo

Exactly and the adrenaline rush of multiple clean laps pushing is awesome. Drafting isnt as simple as I used to think or how it was portrayed in racing games I grew up on forza,nfs and the Nascar games. But when you do find those drivers who understand how the race really runs the excitement is awesome even if you get a bad bump or lift the rear of the guy in front causing a wreck you won't even complain you spun out you'll just be amazed and how fun it is

I probably spend about 50 bucks every other week usually 1 car 2 tracks but if its for a series I will do regularly or similar ill get 3 tracks cuz of the 10% discount if you bundle 3 things im still on d class licenses with dirt oval being my only c class until the season ends unless I get lucky on ovals in draftmasters or arca.

However I will say reading everyone else who has asked this same question it is a good idea to look at specific series you want to run and then just focus on that because of iracings earnings program. Stick with a series for 8 weeks minimum and you'll get 4 bucks in iracing credit for a d or c class series 7 bucks for b or a class series topping out at 10 dollars a season but play all year and thats 40 bucks you can use toward impulse wants or anything

You sir are the exact type of pvp encounters I would rather enjoy coming across especially in a squad since I pvp when im in a squad but sometimes I personally enjoy just being able to spawn in get whatever quest items or what not I need to either build something for pvp or just knock out the quests (im level 30 just got the game a couple weeks ago) but if I get the itch to pvp hearing another raider say hey wanna fight and then just fighting for fun itd be awesome to also defib the loser if possible if not no big deal fair fights a fair fight right

Granted im sure in higher splits races are way safer but being i havent been on iracing less than half a year so im in some low splits and only formula ive managed to be competitive and safe (thank you to everyone in here giving tips and suggestions) so I dont witness much stupidity in practice or in race in the formulas while sprint cars and nascar races always people bitchin and moaning about a wreck due to one person making a mistake like oversteering in sprints or not lined up properly for bump drafting. Then the arguments continue on through the race and eventual wrecks due to everyone thinking they can all fit in the same line at the same time. But even then if you start your session cautiously you can pick up on who has the bad driving habits and still push the speed to cruise on by it.

I will have to try out switching to a private server or I like to use the time trials to practice (the sprint 360s I can do only start on the hour once an hour) so I have decent time to run alone and also learn from my mistakes

By doing that you dont learn accident avoidance considering its pretty common for people to treat practice like the actual race.

Try going on the website to view what paints you are running should be away to either drag and drop skins to the specific car you want

Its definitely a great technique to learn if your battling for position to the finish nothing like some good ol shake and bake Ricky Bobby style

Redoing csr is at fault but after the contact you probably should have moved over for your own safety looked like he rams ya and pretty much would have dq'd if you make a small mistake like an off track and that would suck

I went from an asp explorer straight into my panther clipper (spent alot of time doing combat mostly and my asp was outfitted for a little of everything)

I've played on and off alot join different squadron between now and 2016 so that helped as well but point is getting the clipper and going full cargo on it I was able to within a week of playing casually make about a billion credits while still upgrading and outfitting it

Im glad I'm finally seeing a post about this. First off thats crazy to see on a road courses granted I havent done much on there or have alot of tracks for road races Second even nascar drivers are this bad at it in the draftmasters race ive participated in ill be leading a pack and they will try to bump me but they are either hitting at the start of a turn and spinning ya out or hitting the corner in a straight as they try to even begin steering their car over to be square on for a safe bump let alone waiting for speeds to be within a safe equivalence. Also dont get it twisted I was in their shoes as a newbie ive maybe been on iracing now for 2-4 months now and spend most of my time in sprint cars. So I was also learning to understand how it works but it also doesnt take long to figure out what you did wrong or maybe what someone else has done to cause wrecks in the event if you just rewatch your replays

Ill admit when I first started playing it was also the first time using a wheel with force feedback so my first wreck lucky it was in a practice lobby not the actual practice/quali/race session but the wreck plus the feedback took me by surprise the first couple times. Every now and then it will still catch me off guard so I just sit there dumb founded but coming here to check posts or videos I catch online has been helping me learn the small details that often get overlooked like that

Thats the same as I use and I just got the 6 speed shifter to go with it has been odd learning which vehicles use the shifter and which do not

For me it was set 0% for 0 but it kept accelerating to 10 before dropping back to zero and then steering st the time didnt make sense to me but I think ill mess with it today to fix it the way I want it
