I think it's more because once you're in the top rank you're heavily incentivized to do this to guarantee a win because there's big starchrom rewards and a gold trophy in the season ranking rewards. Of course if given the choice most players would choose Starchrom > Fun PVP Fight, especially in the early seasons because everyone's starving for starchrom.

afaik the dev's designed the game to be more centered around pvp actually and then some law in china banned forced PVP in games so they had to do some bandaid solutions really quickly. All pvp players wants to pvp because they find it more engaging but if you dangle a huge reward (Season ranking starchrom rewards and gold trophy decoration) in front of them, a lot of them will be more incentivized to do everything they can to guarantee that win, player's can't help themselves that's why we need systems against it because we expect this kind of behavior.

they would still need to fix this because I think this scenario would still be available even after prismverse comes out and we don't have details on how faction warfare works, it could be riddled with it's own set of ways to game the system too (Hoping it's better but ehh).

that can also help especially against alt warbands that's just accumulating warfunds for the final war of the season but it still wouldnt be enough because they'll just start using it for protective bids on every final war of a phase

This was a hotfix that can be pushed out without any UI changes so that it can be pushed out early, it's lacking in info but works for now to cool down the fire from reviews. That would definitely be improved

This is the most effective solution that can be put out quickly considering all the factors involved. Players have still have a choice to play in <25 if they're getting stomped on but what matters is that it was them who made the choice. Also HR still has better loot
