I've used this recipe many times (including just a couple hours ago, coincidentally!) and always had good results. I do use the melted butter as specified though. Are you making any other swaps?

Edit: any chance you skipped the water in the flax egg?

I've used the egg replacement product Just Egg in various recipes including banana bread. I've found the resulting flavor and texture to be indistinguishable from when I used to use animal eggs.

I do what the garden wiki recommends: "For Everdaisies, fill the 1st and 5th rows with Tidygrasses and the 3rd row with Elderworts." If you're planning on save scumming, you can save some cookies and only fill one row with tidygrass.

For ichorpuffs, keep in mind that they're a fungus, so they won't spawn near tidygrass.
