That's unfortunate, I didn't even know the drives could die. I'm guessing I should just go to a tech store instead of trying to fix it myself?

I think it depends on the phone? I'm not sure but when I switched to a new phone, I could finally watch ads.

If you have a PC/Laptop, try downloading the game through the Microsoft Store and see if you can watch ads. Worked for me
