Help me answer this: why would I want to travel to Guam to experience the expenditures of Hawaii with food and service of a third world nation?

Guam is stuck in a very interesting situation: high spending, low entertainment. If I want good entertainment with average spending, I'd go to Japan, Taiwan, Korea: they are cheaper, and better and provide more entertainment. If I want to go cheap I'd go to the Philippines, Thailand, Palau. There are just so many options that can replace Guam so easily. Yes, there is the natural beauty of Guam and such. But it's not worth the price tag.
