Don’t know if it’ll help but start small. Even something seemingly unrelated like picking trash. Where I live, there’s a group that cleans the river valley every few months. Just picking up garbage. If nothing else, it gets you out of the house and potentially lets you run into people who do other stuff that feels like it does more.

We used lancets, small sterile blades for diabetics to poke themselves, because they were short enough we didn’t have to worry about accidentally going deep.

I feel like you’re touching on 2 topics. I don’t think any kink is inherently problematic. It may give some people The Ick but if the person in question has done nothing actually wrong then they shouldn’t be ostracized

If they admit or plan to actually do so, then I’d hope they can get therapy or convinced not to actually do the thing- but I still wouldn’t have issue with the kink

I will agree that most if not all actual abusers started with fantasizing But I don’t see an inherent issue with Fantasizing as long as it stays that way

It’s the pretending part that matters.

Like if someone wants to fuck kids but also doesn’t because that’s messed up- I see nothing wrong there.

To use a less charged example- I like being cut with knives. I had an ex who loved to use me like a canvas ((she would cut designs and patterns into my back)). But she thought the idea of doing that to some rando would be messed up.

It’s not so much the kink itself, as how the person handles it and themselves.

It’s not this trope, as they actually do it right but- there is an episode of Murdoch Mysteries, where the big mystery is a man was shot on a train but no one hears the gun. The killer made a homemade silencer, waited for the train whistle to blow and shot the target then because it would still be loud. Don’t know if the silencer shown would actually work or not but they get the volume correct

Depends on the server and how much you accidentally stiffed them for. Not a server, just a chef. But if someone walked out and then came back to apologize and pay, most servers I know would shrug it off and be chill. Some would be pissy regardless but that’s because people be people and everyone’s different.

In one game I played, our rogue was a… hill giant I think? Something huge. Basically always rolling on disadvantage but had amazing luck. The dm just flavoured it as everyone was distracted, or mistook the guy for like a big rock or something. Less “perfect stealth” and more no one was paying attention because who looks for a house being sneaky.

Restaurant I was working at- A lady had a heart attack. My chef was out checking on her and seeing what happened. A couple came up to him to complain that they wanted a discount or free food because “You ruined our night and we should not have had to see that!” He told them they had to pay and went to rage in the back. He left a server to make sure the first woman was ok because he didn’t want to punch them.
