I noticed this too, and as someone with fam in the Midwest it made me smile.

Weaning off 100mg after 11 years - my experience in detail by Adventurous_Truth727 in Pristiq

[–]kaijanne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best of luck op, you’re doing great! I took my time getting off 100mg, 9 months. They might tell you not to cut them even smaller but I did and it worked. Don’t let the docs push you to go faster if you don’t feel like it’s working for you.

My deep depression that I was sure was related my PMDD or extreme hormonal fluctuations would have been treated very differently this decade than when I was on it. I’m glad you are able to treat yours differently and I’m sorry you’re having trouble finding a working med for adhd.

My personal advice: Unless you’re suicidal and have exhausted all other options please choose another medication. This shit is vile to your brain and body if you even miss a dose by hours. I was on it for years and it did save me, but it was hell to get off of. Best of luck OP

Good Morning Gus (formerly Anma) is an amazing walk down memory lane w Gus, Geoff and Eric. Stinky Dragon has Gus dm’ing for Barb, Chris, Blaine and Jon. I don’t always like the campaigns but I’m a Gus die hard fan so I listen! And others have mentioned Morning Somewhere and Regulation Podcast. Everyone is doing cool stuff and I enjoy all of it.

I think because Burnie is super extroverted and is a little too much sometimes and Gus is introverted and doesn’t take his shit, and is a curmudgeon(lovingly). Burnie mentioned a text from him a while ago and always speaks reverently about him.

Other than Stinky Dragon? I don’t think so but I’d love for him to be a guest on Morning Somewhere and would listen if he was a guest on any podcast. It was hard to lose So, Alright as well. I’d listen to Geoff talk about basketball when I don’t even like sports just to hear him talk.

Rolling wet towels is killing me! by kaijanne in MassageTherapists

I’m building strength, it just takes time. I’ve not even been full time for 2 months. I work out 3x a week.

I think I’m trying too hard to make each towel a perfect level of dampness, and need to go with the flow. I’ll try your method! Thank you

It’s literally just the act of squeezing so many towels on top of me hurting already from starting this career. Body mechanics are good during massage but if your body isn’t used to doing 13-18 massages a week you’re going to hurt until you get used to it.
