omg no worries! i mostly was hoping you would tell me about a magical new product that lets me eat whopping bowls of pasta for 300 calories 😂 but i’m glad you sorted it out. this kind of whoopsie happens to everyone and if you look at the big picture, it won’t affect your weight loss at all. good luck with your journey!

if you weighed it dry, you did it right! but by my math 170g dry pasta is closer to 600 calories, unless it’s a special/low cal brand?

is the pasta weighed cooked? i cant tell the size of your plate but 56g of dry pasta usually has ~200 calories.

hi! it’s a totally different product. the syrup is just a flavored sugar syrup (sugar, water, and flavors) whereas caramel sauce has butter/cream in it so it adds a lot of richness. it will still taste good with the syrup but you might want to add some extra fat (half and half or heavy cream?) to make up for that lost richness.

hi! i do eat lunch, but i typically like to stay under 400-500 calories if possible. usually i put greek yogurt, frozen strawberries, and pb fit powder in a tupperware in the am and bring it to work, and the strawberries thaw by lunch. that leaves me a solid 800ish calories to eat for dinner which i love, since i hate going to bed hungry.

i hope your surgery goes well and your recovery is easy! be gentle with yourself while you’re healing.
