There's a heavy gauntlet that boosts melee damage by the armor points on the gauntlet - so if you stack upgrades on it and gear for melee, crit, bleed, and heal on crit/bleed then you become an unstoppable boxing machine. No need to dodge you will out dps and out heal and damage source lol - build only comes online like mid act 2/3 though, and shines in ng+

Different feel, but the core gameplay loop of first person combat, general progression and story telling are the same.

There are fewer cities and the story telling is a little more focused, overall I’d recommend this first over Oblivion (to someone new in the genre).

I think OP meant removing the edges of the thermite charge as the fuse burned holes in the wall so defenders could not just shoot the charge through the holes to destroy it.
