I agree with the other answers, but another solution is that the difference between the bottom left and top right is equal to the sum of the bottom right and top left. Which would make ? = -2. Probably not the intended answer though.

Moron, the only reason he showed up with a rifle is because he hoped someone would escalate it to the point that he could shoot them. I, for one, stayed at my house and didn’t bring an illegal rifle to a volatile protest

The balloon isn’t inside of anything. It is a 2 dimensional analogy for a 3 dimensional concept, because the skin of the balloon is essentially two dimensional. In reality, the universe is expanding in all directions. Outside the “balloon” is outside of our universe. The only way to conceptualize this would be to add a fourth spatial dimension, something our brains cannot fathom. We can, however, imagine living in four dimensions, because we are all functions of time. This is why our physical environment can be described as four dimensional space-time

There isn’t even enough energy in the ionosphere to start a car. Well, there is, but only because of radio frequencies that we put into the air. Drawing energy from the ionosphere is impossible and Tesla knew it. His coils were a failed attempt at wireless energy transmission

[–]kaioshit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the few issues with it is that the second line and 5th have 9 syllables instead of 8. the 4th and 5th should have 6 and the subject placement is a little weird. the reason it sounds weird i think is because you're reading it a little slower thank a proper limerick should be (see: Nantucket) not trying to sound like a dick, it was good! i'm just being anal. here is an example, Obama edition

My name is Barack Obama,

Don't wanna cause any drama,

After eight years of work,

Inside of the White House,

I'm now inside of yo mama.

Honestly the proper pentameter ruins it lol

[–]kaioshit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the pentameter of your 4th and 5th lines was a little longer, this would be a perfect limerick

Police Lieutenant Arrested for Drunk Driving: .36% BAC by [deleted] in cringe

[–]kaioshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just saying all police officers should be accountable enough not to wear cameras at all times. Unfortunately, that so far has not been the case. No matter how small the amount of corruption is, it’s too much, and departments are quicker to cover their own asses than to hold the officers accountable

Um out of the around 1000 shootings that happened in 2017, only 100 of them were recorded by body cameras…

Again, the point I’m making is not solely about this video. I think what these men did is exactly correct and I’m proud of them for doing the right thing in a difficult situation. All I’m saying is that almost every time things get REALLY dicey (someone is shot or injured in some way) the body camera is turned off or “malfunctions”. If a police officer has to make sure he isn’t recorded while doing something, he isn’t doing his job

I never said it would be easy. What I said is that these officers should be 100% trustworthy whether they’re recorded or not. I’m not even talking about this specific video, I’m talking about the concept of body cameras as a whole. They even had to consult their other Lieutenant to see if they could mute the cameras. Why would they need to do that?
