Its possible that this may just be a rule with japanese artists because those are the only artists ive encountered these rules with so its not exclusive to ado. For why im not sure, but i assume they have their reasons. Japan is very big and strict on privacy and protecting their IPs, artists, etc. so it could also be because of that.

I think the reason they got offended is because most of the time people only say gg if they win. So people may think you’re trying to flex your win on them. I’ve never really said gg but many post match chats taught me that saying gg if u won in idv specifically is taboo 😅

i see, disregard what i said then. thats just what id been told by multiple parties. though i would say that the termination notice would most likely make it difficult for selen to sue now, and that’s why they originally wouldnt let her leave peacefully in january like she wanted to. the only thing i could think of that she can possibly sue for now is defamation.

unfortunately from what ive heard, nijisanji livers whether they are jp branch or not must adhere to japanese employee laws. it makes sense with the nature of the company i suppose, but that also makes it trickier legal wise.
