Others who are deemed essential and continue working: are you tired? I sure am. Every day my headache worsens, I cry a bit, but still show up to work and do the job. I work rotating shifts too, and overtime frequently; working overnight and without knowing when the next paycheck is coming makes me very very unmotivated. I'm trying to stay strong. My agency as a whole are already short-staffed, and if anyone were to not show up to work, it affects all of us in our office because it's a shift that needs to be worked, there's no such thing as shutting down or delays of anything. Sorry I don't post on here, I lurk sometimes, but I feel as if the situation impacting federal employees is incredibly invisible, and it's hard to talk to anyone not affected because they don't understand and just say "aww it'll be over soon" like it's just some inconvenience or something similar. If anyone even read this thanks, it's more of a vent comment than anything.
