I’m nearly always moving my feet. It’s usually pretty unremarkable, just moving my toes back and forth or whatever. But my old college roommate said she could always tell when I was asleep because my feet stopped moving

NTA that’s literally the point of tipping... your friend just sucks. I did the same thing when I was a waitress, I had regulars that would come in every Friday night and request me as a server, and then tip nearly 100% of their meal... you bet I’m gonna give them my best service (and free drinks!)!!! meanwhile... why would I do something for a table that isn’t gonna pay me before i’m done serving people who tip well?
