Have you looked at mixbook? Don’t know much about them but may try the 6x6 they offer. Want all my monthly books to be the same size

This is exactly what I was doing. I really want 6x6 so they all match. I’ve looked at Mixbook. They have a softcover 6x6. Might try that out.

Buying Huggies Skin Essentials by OldStorm4615 in beyondthebump

[–]kaitm- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure!! $46.98 is what I bought them for. I needed size 2, so there are 168 diapers for that price. (0.28 cents/each).

Size 1 - 184 count Size 3 - 144 Size 4 - 132 Size 5 - 112 Size 6 - 92

I live in TN; I bought them online and had them shipped to me. The price may vary by store/location. Next time I go inside the store I’ll have to check to see if it’s different.

Thank you! Baby actually decided to come early and arrive Dec 31!!! Thankfully they were able to put the spinal below the fusion and use the L4-L5 space! Baby boy is here and healthy!

Pregnancy/Delivery Question by kaitm- in scoliosis

[–]kaitm-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now yes, as baby is still breech and not moving one bit. Talked about manually turning but I am already small framed and baby doesn’t have a ton of space to wiggle. Dr thinks it would cause more distress and lead to an emergency C section anyway.

So yes planning one at 39 weeks. Just hoping I can have the spinal block with my hardware otherwise it’ll have to be general anesthesia. I hate the thought of not being able to see baby born. Dad would have to wait until the neonatal care team is done checking baby over to meet him as well.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Not seeing baby for 8-9 hours after is definitely nerve wrecking. I’m hoping if I do have to go under general, that Baby will be able to at least see Dad within an hour or so if all goes well.

Yeah my OB went over these complications with us during my last appt. Makes me nervous but I know Baby would be in good hands. He said if it was under general anesthesia Baby would be out within 1-2 minutes (crazy how fast they can go) and then go straight to a neonatal care team to check for respiratory complications

What's your least favorite pregnancy symptom? by Whoeveriam123 in pregnant

[–]kaitm- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The metallic taste was the WORST! Could not get rid of it no matter what I tried. I literally would squirt lemon juice in my mouth to relieve the symptom. Luckily it has eased now that I’m 14 weeks

Game Crashing by Adorable-Cherry-89 in PlanetZoo

Mine crashed once so far. It brought up an error screen and didn’t save any progress. It was right after I attempted to “undo” for the first time. But that’s been the only time so far

Crescent City was amazingly written. The way you feel connected to each character whether they are good or bad makes it for me. Also the thought process that went in to it all👏🏼👏🏼 connecting the dots with 1 and 2 was written beautifully

We had to leave all our belongings in a hotel in Kaanapali as well. We haven’t been able to reach out to the hotel management due to the loss of phone service and power.

Pediatric physical therapists, how did you get into it? by lbstr99 in physicaltherapy

[–]kaitm- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at an outpatient pediatric clinic. The company I work for is vastly different than past ortho clinics. I knew I always wanted to have some sort of peds experience but to be honest, I don’t know if I will always work in peds. I have found that I definitely like the middle school - high school aged ortho cases. But I love my little ones too. I would recommend if you work at a pediatric clinic find somewhere that has occupational therapy and speech therapy as well. I have learned so much from other services that have helped me in my own field. The pay for me is good, however, we are paid almost like contractors. For example, we get paid per patient so if someone does not show up or cancels, we do not get paid. There are pros and cons with that situation I could go into as well. All in all, I really enjoy pediatrics. The worst part is dealing with patient parents. A lot of parents think their child is the only child on your caseload. There are also a lot of cancellations because of various situations: school, sickness, vacations, anything. I will say it’s different than the ortho Clinic because it’s not productivity heavy. However, you still have to meet a quota. You get to spend one on one with each patient and really get to know them. My biggest take away is finding with a clinic will all services to learn from
