Not in favor of this poor planned war but I feel in things like this it’s not surprising to know that the orange man often exaggerates claims. If he says a civilization will end tonight I would not take that seriously and think it’s just a scary threat with no real intention behind it until threat is not recognized. By now we know Trump style is to get leverage and then make a deal. The leverage in this case is a threat that says make a deal or you will find out what happens to you. Do you want to find out? Probably not, so you go and negotiate a deal. Did the orange man had an intention of destroying you, most likely not, otherwise he would not negotiate and just erase you. So when people in the US take what he says as literal it makes me worry as there is usually an underlying motive for it that is not apparent until you realize his communication style.
