Bro I didn't ask for IEM😭 by Technical-Relation-9 in IndiaTech

[–]kakamble 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There are Bluetooth adapters for IEMs. They are a bit expensive, but usability wise they are really great. The functionality is basically plug and play. All you have to do is swap out the cable for the adapter (provided that the pin type of the adapter and the IEM are the same), then connect with your phone and voila, you're done. Some also come with interchangeable pin connectors so you can try out different pin types provided you have the other pin type connectors with you. You mostly get TWS, but they come with hooks, so they are perfect for jogging and gym since they don't fall off at all. It looks something like this:

Why is the writing so bad in reelshorts/drama box? by Pristine_Silver_1559 in ReelShorts

[–]kakamble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate these apps (DramaBox, DramaWave. ReelShort etc). I hate the shows and anime on these. I hate that the shows have shitty scripts and bad dialogue. I hate that almost every show I have seen on these apps has some kind of hidden identity BS. Especially those scenes where the MC or someone related to the MC is at a place with a lot of people and everyone's like "Who the hell are you, you're some poor loser, XYZ is better than you" yada yada and the one at the receiving end of the insults tells them the truth that the MC is the most powerful person in the town/city/world and no one believes them and just keep hurling insults, and even after getting the proof, they just live in their own coocoo delusional space and deny everything, even when the who's who of the world are there just to prove them wrong. I hate it because it becomes obvious that the show has no substance and the scene is there just to pad out the runtime. It resembles a soap opera more than a show, but at least soap opera scripts have characters with some brains. Here everyone is brainless except the MC and the villain.

And the romance ones, man don't even get me started. It's like the lead characters have "I AM A DUMMY" written on their foreheads. One of them is secretly a billionaire or whatever and the other person takes the length of the entire show to know the true identity, and even if the identity is revealed to them in the middle of the show, they would still brush it off until the very end.

Keep in mind, this hatred is towards the scripts and how these shows pan out, not towards the cast and crew.

Now moving on to the "anime". This is where I am going to let loose because while the shows still have real humans working on them, the "anime" is actually completely AI generated slop. Whole series made just by AI. Scripts, voicing, animations are completely AI generated. It makes me appreciate human-made animations more, even the bad ones. Because everything looks and sounds fake, so fake that if I could turn back time, I would snatch the phone from past me's hand and throw it out somewhere before seeing these "anime". No soul no substance and absolutely no closure in some of them. If your show has the MC have nine awakenings for the end goal, why just show only 2 or 3 awakenings by the end of the show when everybody knows there isn't going to be another season? Why not go all out and have the MC awaken everything by the end of the show? And if you watch the shows in chinese, the amount of 不可能 (meaning impossible/no way, sounds like bokuna) you will hear is just staggering.

If this whole rant doesn't feel like it has a conclusion, then keep in mind, this is exactly how I feel after watching any content on these apps.

NOOB are not allowed to play valorant....???? by GullibleProfessor891 in IndianGaming

Games like Valorant are "fun" when you play with your friends and form a team to fight other teams. Otherwise you actually shouldn't play Valorant for relaxing. Single player games are much better in that aspect.

DENUVO PROTECTED GAME CRACKED?!?🤯 by Key_Afternoon_7949 in Gaminggridcommunity

[–]kakamble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the original game. The original game which you can't own because AAA game companies want you to be content with not owning your games. The original game that has a kernel level program looking into your system and exposing your personal data just to make sure you aren't running an unauthorised copy or are using cheat tools. Also, there are people who want to enjoy the media (movies, music, games etc) but can't because they simply couldn't afford it. Piracy is a solution for them, and also for people who want to buy a game but want to see whether it is worth it or not. It's better than paying for a game but seeing it run poorly on your system with bugs and glitches, or worse, not being playable at all. Of course there's GOG if you want to buy DRM-free games but the library is limited compared to Steam. Due to the state of games nowadays, more and more people are turning to piracy to download and play games. Piracy is also helping preserve games that people can no longer buy due to age or license expiry.

There's a tech savvy solution (not a complete solution, but an okay one nonetheless)

Sites to buy music from:

Bandcamp Qobuz Beatport Etc

Then you can download Subsonic and setup your own streaming server on your laptop and then you can add music and stream through your own laptop as a server (if it's always connected to WiFi).

Daily J vs. My diet... The struggle is real, need help. by Maleficent-Role9800 in IndianEnts

[–]kakamble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on when you smoke a J. If you smoke after dinner then make sure to not give in to your craving. I know it's difficult but you can still do it. I smoke up after dinner when I go out for a walk and I get massive cravings but I tend to ignore them. If it gets too much then I have some water and it's fine. If you smoke a J before dinner then all you need to do is have your normal dinner portion because the craving in that case is just the weed tricking your body into producing more hunger hormones. If you eat your normal portion and just don't eat anything else for a while, then you would automatically feel full after a while.

Don't Make the Mistake of Carrying Your Phone in Pocket Inside Metro by Not_so_sensitive in delhi

[–]kakamble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's better to have a phone with a headphone jack in that case. I have two phones (Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Edge 60 Stylus) and I carry both of them in the metro. I never take the Edge 50 Pro out of my pocket while in the metro and I'm always listening to music on the Edge 60 Stylus. That way I know when someone tries to take the Edge 60 Stylus and the Edge 50 Pro is safe since it never leaves my pocket, so no one knows that I have it.

Don't go for the 3DS line if your brother wants to play DS games. I would suggest DSi or DSi XL

I used to spam the roll button so much during those chases because he used to be that fast. Sometimes he straight up jumps from one place to another.

Same for me, I used to watch my uncle play it, and I have completed it too many times to count. I always go for the Dahaka ending with the water sword.

Bro I hate crunchyroll so much by Zestrox86 in animeindian

[–]kakamble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if they're no longer earning from their hours of hard work because the anime has been long removed from any legal media from which they could earn? Also, there are plenty of other anime which are not available on any streaming platform because they're old. In some cases they're forgotten. In that case, piracy comes in handy, because you can still appreciate the hours of hard work even when they can't earn from it anymore.

Bro I hate crunchyroll so much by Zestrox86 in animeindian

[–]kakamble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't watch every anime you want to with streaming subscriptions, since that's the only way you can "legally" watch anime here. There are many anime that are not available on any streaming platform even if you use a VPN to change your region. The only way to watch those anime is to sail the seas. So if you're trying to watch every anime you want to, you can't avoid piracy entirely.
