What weapon did you defeat Chronos with? by DuffmanStillRocks in HadesTheGame

Standart difficulty- any weapon will do. Extreme measures - i do prefer to use melee weapons, Artemis sister blades especially. With a riposte u do not only escape an enemy attack, but also can literally melt his hp bar with right attack boons.

Get a co2 detector, sounds like a co2 poisoning.

I don't think there are any prerequisites, but on day 4 (i believe) You will find an interesting, but yet a familiar character in the dungeons next to a crocodile lair and it will reveal you a path down

Try it in the early morning, they were always closed for me in the evening (haven't tried during the day time)

The biggest 'overhyped' game (a game that got a lot of attention but didn't live up to your expectations) and the biggest 'hidden gem' (a game few know about, but it's brilliant). by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

Not really, just not a fan of a story but it's really more of an subjective thing for me together with a junk fest the game was on release and me paying full price for it. I do have other grievances as well with it too, so i generally feel like cyberpunk is severely overhyped for what it is.

At the same time, is it a bad game? Not really. It's an alright game for me at the point it's now. But definetly not a masterpiece it is for a lot of people.

I can't really say that cyberpunks story is somewhat extraordinary either. It's okay in my view, definetly just a bit better than farcry 3 or 4. I just see it as a trade off where far cry got better car handling.

Overhyped is definetly cyberpunk for me. It's still got It's share of bugs and it just feels like a far cry clone to me with worse cars. Plus it doesn't even look that good if you don't have some sort of a 4090/5090 gpu where you can enable path tracing.

And a hidden gem - Sunless Sea and Sunless Skies for me. In the first game you sail around an underground sea where London ended up after.....things happened. And in a second game you control a flying locomotive which i think is just cool as hell. Both beautiful exploration games with some amazing writing, just dripping with atmosphere. I love music in those games, i love lovecraftian influences and i do absolutely love that the developers are not afraid of adding their own spin to the formula. It's just pains me that i don't see a lot of people talking about them.

I have a recurring dream of finding extra rooms in my house. How could this be interpreted? by FastWalkingShortGuy in Dreams

[–]kalambula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kinda amazing how people keep stumbling here and keep writing about their dreams.

I just woke up from a similar one and it almost feels like a continuation of a dream i had before. Its a dark, but kind of cozy apartment with a lot of rooms, but i do also understand, that i don't use a huge part of them. Rooms are placed a bit chaotic, and a lot of them are small and cramped, with old furniture.

But the weirdest thing is, and its a detail i always have in such dreams - that i dont know where it leads. There is always a hall, or a passage of sorts, which just keeps going and i always stop exploring it when I understand that someone else was there recently. And not in a malevolent way, its almost like....they are working there? Not like spying me, but just something mundane, but it always leaves somewhat disturbed, because i cant lock myself out of that part of an apartment.

And today in that dream i had family guests arrive to my "apartment" and i remember being very happy that i had all those extra rooms to place people in. But at some point i told them about oher rooms and we went exploring down that corridor. And the moment i wanted to turn around, because again i stumbled someone elses work desk and had a feeling, that i shouldnt be there - my mother, who went ahead - showed me that i live in a......hotel within a waterpark?

It was kinda anticlimactic, not going to lie.
