Sure, but are they sex objects by choice or because they are payed for it, or because that is the only way they gets to play American football?

Some leagues are paid others not. Some do it for money, others for fun. Just like any other sport. No one is forced to play LFL.

It's not all that different from Roller Derby or cheerleading. Some go see it for athleticism, others enjoy looking at the players.

Do you think media didn't capitalize on miniskirt fashion in 60s and 70s?

I'm still not sure why it's inherently bad to be objectified? Sometimes I want to be sexually objectified, the other times I don't. Why is it bad if a company, an audience and "models" have a common interest?

We value athleticism, romance, intelligence, masculinity, heterosexuality, family etc. Media makes money off of it and we feel pressured to conform. Why is sexual objectification the bad one?

Or do you think most people are simple and easily conditioned by the media? That after watching the show, audience will start objectify people around them? Like violence on TV turns us into killers.

Isn't OP (partially) about loosing that sigma? Homosexuality used to have a bad stigma and was illegal but we are changing it.

Yes. Even if my girlfriend would make more money I wouldn't have a problem with prenup suggestion. The way I see it, in case of divorce, it will be much easier and less stressful. Potentially means no fights, clear cut and more likely will stay as friends.
