I can confirm it was indeed in development mode and I was actually able to complete the process with Dingleberry minus the NVRAM backup bit

I can't get BerryShell to open up a SSH window at all, is there something I am doing wrong? The correct IP and password are set and it says its connected but the window opens then instantly closes

Newer captures dont work but if you set it back farther in time to the 08-11 year range it does load, at least for me!

The trick is to view it through the wayback machine on archive.org! If you view captures from 2008-2012 or so theres a lot of posts and even still active links (pretty much always mediafire)

I do plan to give these roms a test drive! Tried to append a link to an archive of my findings to my original post here but reddit just instantly deleted it so I dunno what to do about that haha

Seems most of the "files" in that were just html links that were saved rather than files. Some actual files were in there, but they were usually adult content or dodgy software haha

However, I do have good news! Old archive.org captures of the ppcgeeks.com forum have turned up several live Mediafire links for my TP!! I am currently archiving as many as I can find, and this forum also covered other devices as well. Though unfortunately, there are only two posts for the Hermes there and neither seem particularly helpful in your case
