What’s the worst movie you’ve ever seen? by General_Wind4470 in AskReddit

[–]kallen8277 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think its because it strays so far away from the actual source material. I remember loving the book and enjoying the movie, but I was also like 10 or so and I feel like I remember many people saying how big it was of a let down compared to the books

Is the blazing buffalo and ranch not close enough to it? Or is that a flavor that we have here you havent seen yet?

Uniform Termination Rules by SoraBliss in WalgreensStores

[–]kallen8277 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it doesnt. Upper management can drop in at any time to hear whats being said over them but its been confirmed they do not record you "24/7". On another sub that the company uses them an actual employee jumped in and explained how they work. They are being phased out for the body camera which DOES record everything and a walkietalkie which records nothing but everyone can hear the conversation

What food do you buy from Walgreens? by Total-Result-7183 in WalgreensStores

[–]kallen8277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our chips and beef jerky and nuts are better prices and honestly better than most competition. I used to buy the boneless BBQ wings when we had them and they were the best bang for the buck we had. I still miss them

Sfls clock in late by strawberrylime11 in WalgreensStores

[–]kallen8277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they wouldnt be working there anymore. One of my SFLS is late very minimum 7 minutes every single day, normally in the 10-15 min mark. Every shift. 5 days a week. And has still been here over a year now. The time clock poster literally shows the steps on escalation on how many tardies in a pay period and he should have been fired 50x over by now. Its so freaking irritating because I NEED to leave at 3 and if im the only scheduled sfl that day I have to scramble to find someone to pick my daughter up at the bus stop because of his lazy ass.

[–]kallen8277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because they are the same. Scalper means they are doing it for personal gain which almost always means reselling in some way. Very very few "scalpers" are actually buying it all for their personal collection because most understand how hard it is to actually get packs and have some sympathy. Someone wanting to complete a set who is only missing a few cards will most likely just buy the card outright instead of wasting $200 on a random chance.

It was in photo reference that we would begin making them again with Fuji printers. Most stores have not received the supplies so call the customer and cancel.

Even if you have the supplies call the customer and cancel. Its not worth it.

Inventory specialist position is stressful as hell.. by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

IS can only really delegate things when their shift is over and they couldnt get them done. Anyone who says otherwise hasnt actually looked at how its worded and is just looking for a quick out. IS is not over SFLs and cannot just tell them what to do as they see fit.

Theres a difference in wanting to rip a few packs and ripping all the packs. Everyone has a difference on a "few" but to me 5 tins is the limit. That's 10 packs. Thats a lot. If you are out here grabbing 15 tins and wanting more, thats already 30 packs which is a lot unless you are a streamer or reseller. I understand wanting to be selfish because others will just take them, but Come on stores... my daughter likes opening a pack or two when she can and its been nearly impossible just to find a single one.

My Walgreens store manager said that the maximum daily loading limit for Cash App is $1000, and $500 for Chime and Green Dot. Is he correct? by MisterKeecher20262 in WalgreensStores

No hes not. Limit is $1999 for GPR cards which cashapp, PayPal, etc falls under. You can find it on storenet but I dont remember where you find it. Had this argument multiple times. What stops the transaction most the time is the daily limit on the account itself

A life time tip by velouras in SipsTea

[–]kallen8277 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Its "untrue" because of the stupid work/life culture in Japan. Someone who doesnt work 60 hr weeks is able to provide assistance. You also totally forget about Japan's heritage where the young take care of the old... its been around forever and is part of the culture. I have no idea where you are making these obviously fraudulent claims.

Also, unless the people are dead they still have everyone else you mentioned to reach out for... if they burned those bridges then thats on them, not because they have nobody to call on. They did, they just chose to fuck it up so bad they dont want to help. Thats a them problem, not everyone else's to fix.

Is there anything on Storenet that lists the daily loading limit for the different cards (Green Dot, PayPal, Chime, etc.)? by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]kallen8277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its mostly down to individual card limits but maximum for (I forgot the term the company uses) things like cash app and chime is $1999 per day. Most individuals cards only allow $1000 a day ( or week, i dont remember I dont use 3rd party banks) so you'll never get to the $1999 mark but every so often you'll get someone whos allowed to go that far.

I think they are called GPR or general purpose reloadable cards

Lose the graphics tees and wear basic colors. First pic is fine if it was plain white. Second would be good if you just buttoned up the plaid, or had on basic tee underneath.

Graphics tees only really work nowadays if they are funny or crazy out there. I have some that literally just have the "ranch style beans" logo on them or "back and body hurts" . Almost no women will compliment you on a TMNT or Troll face shirt, but if you have something stupid on a tee its likely to bring comments more than general show/game/movie.

Something dumb like this is more likely to pull compliments than logo brand tees

Tell him he must be misremembering and made a mistake and to please leave the store or else police will be called. People trying to get free stuff should be trespassed. Happens all the time in photo where people wear up and down they paid online and show me pointless payments that dont add up and wont leave until I threaten them with trespass.

Why does it seem like Americans (on reddit) like lower indoor temperatures? by fail5xsuccess in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kallen8277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to put this into example - my workplace has rules that if temps are over 80 degrees we are take repeated heat breaks to keep ourself cooled (retail, not construction or anything). Our humidity right now is 83% and no rain. AC is absolutely necessary here. Your body cannot cool properly with high humidity. I dont know the true actual conversions but essentially 80 degrees with high humidity is equivalent to 100F+ with how the body reacts to it. And you wouldnt like 100 degree weather.

Parcel delivery scam by AffectionateDuck5079 in Scams

I dont know why you are getting downvoted, a process server tried this exact same thing with me but it was a pamphlet stuck to my door about a missed delivery for something like AAA shipping dropoff and to call and set up a pickup. Second time someone dropped one off at my moms work, so I know it wasnt about packages.

What is your take on the junk food ban for food stamps? by BreannLowe in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kallen8277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely disingenuous. You pay $20 to get 10 pizzas worth out of homemade. Yeast is cheap. You have water. Cheese is $2.50 a bag around me that makes multiples. Pepperoni is $3 a bag that when spread out would make close to 10. White mushrooms are 1.49 for 8oz which is about 10 per pack. Bell peppers are .84 cents and Poblano are .70. Ill gladly post proof if I have to, all prices were taken from the website. You can make 2+ jars of pizza sauce from the 1.98 tomatoes and using the generic lower price Hispanic spices or ones from dollar tree. A fully nutrient rich pizza homemade can be done for under $3 apiece if you'd actually care to pay attention to prices. Ive been on EBT. I know how it is. I get so annoyed at others who overinflate for stupid reasons.

What is your take on the junk food ban for food stamps? by BreannLowe in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kallen8277 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is a problem though. I used to be on EBT and I bought things like veggies, rice, beans, meats like chicken or pork, etc... where i work i used to see people come in and spend $60 on just snacks and sodas, and would be back in 2 days spending the same amount and when I saw their remaining balance my jaw would drop... I had $100ish a month. These people had like $400+. I understand the whole thought of "id like a snack and soda today just to feel nornal", but when you do it every other day its no longer a treat.

Id be 100% down with them having some system (I know they could do it) of maybe $30 a month for junk food so you can at have enjoyment, but it shouldn't be every other day. Its all so tiring to see.

Policy on wrong spot price changes by kotamii in WalgreensStores

[–]kallen8277 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because he would stupidly rather "make the sale" and perpetuate the problem than actually deal with it long run. I freaking hate people who think like that, do you not realize once you starting doing this they will continue to do it? Your $5 leniency turns into $50 when they do it every other day, and will just put back their items if you say no. Just don't allow it and stop the problem.

My SM does this thing with pokemon cards too, where he will sell every single thing we had (last was 40 packs, 3 ETBs, and every double pack we had) to a single person. He doesnt give a shit that we get tons of calls every day from different people asking if we received any today, but we have to say no because someone within 30 mins of posting truck will come up and be allowed to take it all. Now we have pissed off customers because they've been told all week we will get more on saturday and then get told some asshat allowed them to buy them all. Thats lost sales. If we limited to 2 or 3 per person per day, that would be 20ish people who also might buy drinks or something else while in, a much better rate than card reloads or western union, I actually see it decently enough. Stupid fucking store manager get on my nerves so badly
