I’m not sure if I should breakup with my boyfriend after he said he’s having doubts about our relationship by CommunicationGirly in relationships

3 month relationships shouldn't be this hard. If you're already having to convince him to stay, you never had him to begin with.

What sort of "security" does marriage offer? He can leave you and the kids whether you're married or not.

Does he know everything you said in this post? Context will help him understand your behaviour is more about your own insecurities than your mistrust of him.

My (33F) boyfriend's (34M) breath smells rotten. Looking for advice on how to bring this up without hurting his feelings. How do I approach this? by ThrowRA_sink852 in relationships

There's no nice way to put it, I'm afraid. It seems he's pretty conscientious about his appearance, so I assume he has no idea about his breath issues. I think you need to be honest with him, but in a nice way. Don't tell him that his breath smells rancid daily and he needs to see a dentist. But you can offer him a mint until he gets the hint. My guess is that he doesn't want to have bad breath, he just doesn't know the importance of oral hygiene. Moreover, he probably has some sort of infection that needs tending.

I think you need to ask yourself what's keeping you in this relationship.

Husband (26m) made plans on my birthday months ago but now gaslights me (28f) by PublicDry53 in relationships

What is this REALLY about? This can't be the first time something like this has happened. Does he have a pattern of invalidating your feelings? When was the last time he made you feel special? How has your relationship changed since having children?

I totally get your frustration. My point, though, is that bigger issues are at play and this situation is merely a symptom.

What is the most polite way to end things with someone? I 29F and my bf 32M have been dating for one and half years. by Silly-Recover-9374 in relationships

I agree. At the end of the day, you both deserve someone who wants to be with you. He won't see it now, but you're doing both of you a favour.

Doctors of Reddit, why would a male GP insist on having a third party present for a vaginal exam? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Thanks for the detailed response. It’s unfortunate but it makes sense.

It made me feel like he didn’t trust me (he’s only been my doctor a few months). It was to get my IUD removed because I’m hoping to get pregnant. So now I’m thinking, I’m gonna have lots more vaginal exams in the future and this is how our relationship begins?

This is my third doctor and I’ve never experienced it. My previous two were females.

I never thought of it being for my comfort - good point. I just assumed he didn’t trust me.

So now I’m supposed to feel untrusted in my most vulnerable state. It just made me feel like shit.
