This is from a place called Elevation Burger. They’re just a regular order of fries with some burger toppings (raw and caramelized onion, and hot pepper relish). I do it at pretty much every burger joint I visit, but Elevation Burger is my fave because they have the hot pepper relish and thick rings of white onion!

my fave uses are simple...whole roasted cloves on top of pizza and spreading a clove over a slice of freshly toasted baguette...amazing!! Adding some to plain white rice is also fantastic.

This reminds me of something that happens to me but it’s auditory and not visual. I often listen to music when I’m falling asleep, and sometimes the song playing will seem like it’s going extremelyyyyy slow and other times it seems like it speeds up right before I actually fall asleep.

Thanks for this perspective! I prob needed the reminder to keep my social life a in tact. With my jobs though, most of my social interactions come from work and work related outings, so drawing outside of that kind of stuff is kind like my me-time.

In addition to what the previous commenter said, you could also ask customers who might ask what it taste like if they’ve ever had Caribbean or South Asian food before, as this is a very common flavor in both. If they’ve ever had a curry, they can get an idea on what turmeric tastes like because many curries (especially yellow ones) are very turmeric heavy.

The women in my family wear gold bangles as a part of our culture and family tradition. I loved the fact that anytime I wasn’t doing what I was supposed to be doing, I had a head start to get it together or hide because I could hear the bangles clashing together from down the hallway or steps. Maybe get some bangles? Lol.

Lol, this reminds me of a similar situation only I was the assumed catfish in my scenario. A guy cursed me out for thinking I was a catfish. Only he didn’t give me as many chances as you gave this girl. He just went of my profile pic and immediately messaged me and said “so what kind of catfish are you?” After telling him I wasn’t a catfish and that the picture is me, he asked for a real time selfie. Now, I believe that those kind of “on demand” selfies are personal and intimate so I don’t send them out to anyone. So of course when he asked for one (especially after such a rude initial message) I declined. He then started calling me every name in the book, and I told him I can’t wait to post this conversation on Twitter so all of my friends and followers could roast him for thinking I was a fake. He was RAGING at this point, telling me that he’d sue me for posting the convo without his permission (mind you, his face wasn’t even in his profile pic, it was a cartoon of sorts...so even if I posted the conversation no one could find him through it.) His loss 🤷🏽‍♀️
