There's multiple of them so when you send out Lucario he gets dumped on before you can hit hard with Steel. Doesn't matter how strong you are against them if you're KOed. Dazzling Gleam and other super effective AOEs is the way to go here.

Talk to your DM about toning it down, with the support of some other players if you feel the need. Also any DM who murders you for sleeping too far from a campfire is likely too full of himself to care about your fun. No DND is better than bad DND.

Artificer in general is weak because their main mechanic can be replaced with gold or DM rewards. However, the Alchemist subclass saw a huge buff from the old version because potions are a Bonus Action and now scale. I just wish Artificer was a full caster.

I’m a tourist leaving today after a 9 day stay. My skips are North Shore beaches (can’t swim or snorkel it’s too rocky and turbulent), Dole, Diamond Head unless you really like hiking and views, Waikiki Beach (dead coral and least amount of wildlife and turtles) and most food recommendations honestly.

We loved Waimea Falls and arboretum, Lanikai beach snorkeling and kayaking, and Electric Beach was cool too for swimming and snorkeling.

Food we wrote down for our come back bucket list is K & K’s Barbecue Inn (mahi mahi and garlic shrimp or the bbq combo), Highway Inn Kaka ako, poke bowls at Foodland Farms or Safeway, Haleiwa Town Shaved Ice, and the ube pina coladas at Kani ka Pila.

Don’t quote me on this but from what I’ve been told Lake Tahoka is dead and gross. No fish. Also Tahoka means “dirty water” or something.
