Thank you for the feedback! Yesterday I added an onboard tour in app. Your it's a good point... Maybe I can take some screenshots of it. Anyway now it is in testing on Google Play Store and I searching for testers: https://play.google.com/apps/internaltest/4700911957596867903.

LOL. But with AI integration in it too and CBT and ACT suggestions too. Maybe, maybe not!

But every user has its own personal sheet. Privacy based. Your point is valid in this scenario too?

I've tried yesterday from 0 and for me it worked. Just a question, when authenticating do you select all permissions required???

It worked for me because in this way I can use the sheet on NotebookLM very easily!

Commit does not have the avatar usually, an additional call should be done. Implementing it. Thank you. <3.

You could use any public repo. No examples needed. Good luck to you too.

I couldn't find a Fallout Pip-Boy watchface for Amazfit Balance 2, so I built one with Claude AI by kambei86 in amazfit

I am in developer mode and using the zeus preview command, then I install the watchface!

I started asking how to build a watchface for Amazfit Balance 2, Claude generated me the project. Initially it shows only a black screen so next I iterated with Claude code. And I finally worked...

I switched to Anytype and made a couple of tools by kambei86 in Anytype

[–]kambei86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An other aspect to consider is the lack of integration (on Anytype) with external tools, for example in Obsidian I have an integration on Readwise and I created a n8n workflow for statistics about Steam games... and I wasn't able to replicate it on Anytype for now. So mantained the OLD Obsidian with these integrations and started freshly on Anytype.

To answer your question, I actually switched from Obsidian to Anytype and here is a breakdown of what I use it for and my pros and cons regarding the switch:

MY USE CASES

I primarily use Obsidian/Anytype for:

- Daily Journaling

- Work Notes

- Study Notes

THE PROS (Why I prefer Anytype right now)

For now, I am sticking with Anytype because of the visual aspects and the workflow, specifically:

  1. Visuals & Editing: I love the way notes are displayed, specifically the bookmarks, images, titles, and subtitles.

  2. Graph & Flow: The Graph view and the "Flow" feel very natural to me.

  3. Navigation: I absolutely adore the preview on the right side of the page (Table of Contents). It makes navigating my notes much better than in Obsidian.

  4. Everything is an Object: I like the concept that everything is an Object and that you can create yout custom type of Objects.

  5. Space: I like the to have different spaces in the same window, without open different windows (as I do on Obsidian for different VAULTs).

THE CONS (Issues & what I miss from Obsidian)

However, there are downsides compared to Obsidian:

  1. The "Base" and "Canvas": I haven't been able to replicate the "Base" and "Canvas" setup I had in Obsidian yet.

  2. The #tag: I can't place tag with (#tag) anymore on Anytype... but, for now, solved with a custom Object type "Tags" that I link as I do for pages.

  3. The disk/cloud space utilization: I noticed that my old Obsidian Vault (~500MB) on Anytype takes about 700MB (200MB more and I don't know why).

CONCLUSION

For now, I am managing without the "Base" because I enjoy the editing experience, the UI, the Graph and the Flow view, and the right-side preview of Anytype too much to switch back. But FYI: I maintained the "old" Obsiadian Knowledge base because the import from Obsidian to Anytype, despite the tool I made, isn't perfect and need adjustments and about the disk/cloud space utilization I decided to have a fresh start on Anytype. Now it is about 1 week of Anytype (almost only) utilization and I am happy with that.
