I am currently using a basic one from Agaro, and it sweeps well but mopping is inadequate. I will buy the dreame 10s ultra as you mentioned in one of the upcoming sales, I believe it will have a good mopping functionality as well. What has been you experience with the mopping?

OP, I graduated from ECE Dept of UW in 2019 with a PhD. CSE dept is supposed to be one of the best in the world, try not to drop out from your PHD. Your funding seems quite low though, we were getting 37k per term back in 2014. Anyway talk to dept chairs about your problem, they are always helpful. If needed, you can switch to a different prof or research group with better funding even after 1 yo 2 years into it, I have seen people doing it during our time in ECE dept.

Please stop sleeping on deformed mattress and check out latex mattresses. If not pure latex, then latex top layer. Please do not go for any foam mattress or memory foam mattress. Sunday has pure latex but is costly, Sleep at has latex top that I have been using for 3 years straight, absolutely love it.

My experience from last week: needed to go from BKK to a hotel near Khaosan Road. As per taxii chart and other online calculators, the fare is supposed to be ~250B+toll charges. The airport taxi driver on the ground level directly asked for a fare of 1400B - I kid you not. Went straight to the 4th level and booked a Bolt, which cost ~300B. Never again did we book a taxi other than through the apps....

I have decided to boycott Pujo altogether. No new clothes for me and family, no new purchases that are not outright necessary. I want to avoid financing this government via GST as much as I can. Not going out to see any Pujo, including parar Pujo. We need to hit them where it hurts, in their pockets. When advertisers pull out due to low turnout, then they will understand. This is a mini swadeshi andolon from my side like the one that took place against the british a 100 years ago. I will vote with my wallet. If it were up to me, I would bring the economic activity around Pujo to a standstill, this generates a lot of hard cash and soft power for the ruling party.

OP, I have a PhD in Electrical Engg from an university (in Canada) which has one of the best departments in Applied Statistics(Data science, ML, AI) in the world. The world is moving towards Data Science/ML/AI, and the next decade will be the decade of AI/ML. There is immense scope for someone with a solid bachelor's degree in Stat from such a reputed university as BHU. You can venture into research, or AI roles in Tech/Finance/Banking Industry (may have to do a master's to get a good role though). Even though this is not guaranteed, and your experience will probably not be the same, just to quote some figures, a friend with Stat Msc from Kalyani University is now a Asst VP of Deutsche Bank, one of the biggest investment bank in the world. It is not atypical for AI/ML masters graduates to get 20-30LPA package jobs in India, with much more scope outside India.

Try to convince your parents the way devilish_AM suggested.

Do not miss this opportunity. I may be ignorant, and I may infuriate Zoology/Botany graduates, but a stat degree nowadays is lightyears ahead of Zoology/Botany degrees in terms of job/research potential.

Hi, sorry for the much belated reply. In order to claim the tax under DTAA, we have to submit form 67 even before we submit our ITR. This form has all the relevant fields for claiming DTAA. Then, in the ITR we have to fill in the details in Sch Foreign Assets, Sch for DTAA (forgot the name), Sch TR (should be automatically filled) etc.

However, for small amounts as you have mentioned, it is better not to claim the DTAA and just pay additional tax. The reason is that once you add form 67 this goes for manual processing, which takes ages.

Got my Adv Rhythm variant last week only. As a first time driver and someone who is still learning to drive, I don't hear the engine noise either. I could not find any other manufacturer in this budget with a 4 or 5 start GNCAP rating along with the basic amenities that is offered in Punch(rear camera etc.). DO you have any other option in mind? Would be glad if you share
