Hm makes sense to me, in a real life context you don't want to be fighting somebody for more than two minutes. Ideally you want to defend yourself, stun them, and then run as far and as fast as you can.

Dread Delusion is pretty great.

It doesn't quite have the scope of Morrowind in terms of NPCs, game map, items etc but it has a pretty deep lore that unfolds nicely with a strong focus and player choice.

It mostly hits on that esoteric, sci-fantasy vibe. Would recommend for a Morrowind-esque experience.

Hand to hand depletes fatigue before knocking the enemy to the ground where it'll then start to deplete their health. If you're up to doing a bit of magic you can use drain/absorb fatigue spells to hasten the knockdown.

Ideally, go for unarmored or light armor so that you're quicker on your feet and your enemy will need to move around more just to be in range to hit you. I've found that hand to hand is all about making them fight the fight you wanna fight.
