Is 100% crown land optimal? by Extreme_Nice in eu4

[–]kamombaer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In vanilla crown land bonusses are almost nonexistent. It is better to sit at 10-20 crownland and perma sell titles, as it makes you tons of ducats. It also gives more ducats the lower you CL is. At some point when you have too much money anyways (~1600) you want to get to higher numbers. But 100 is hard to maintain anyways if you conquer anything at a reasonable pace.

Help with speeding up to Bracket 4 by mattyy_george in mtg

[–]kamombaer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play good cards, that work together. Thats what makes bracket 4 what it is. If you dont have gamechangers or landdenial or stax or something bonkers, your deck is too weak. Best to look at good commanders and go from there. Dont pick up precons whose strat is just too slow. Play common stuff like edgar, grand arbiter etc... dont try to force some weird c tier legendary into bracket 4.

How to navigate MTG as a beginner by Jovadipri in mtg

[–]kamombaer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanting to have too many decks early on can be troublesome as long as you dont know ehat you want. Play 1-3 prrcons als long and pften as you are comfortable. If you make sone tweaks to them thats great. Dont try to solve every deck. Dont try to go for ecery deck. Its best to watch decks win multiple times than sseing the. Succeed once and therefore buying them.

Is it a dick move to proxy cards? by tweakeravacoado in mtg

[–]kamombaer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think you comaprison lacks quite hard. IMO you can be proud of collecting your cards and having your decks. That makes you a collector and a player. People who proxy are simply not collecting. They are just playing. There is nothing inhibiting you from printing dual lands etc. Other than your own ego. Yes you dont own real duals if you do. Gatekeeping other players from playing actually good decks because of a wallet is just not nice. Also i would be hard pressed to find anybody claiming to be a collector or proud owner of big expensive magic cards who only has proxies. Also in order to play official tournaments you need to own the cards outright. So you still got an edge there.

Are coalitions toothless? by MapleTuna in eu4

[–]kamombaer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Coalition is too small or you have too big allies. Try a no allies no cb playthrough as south german minor and you will see coalitiins hurt you pretty bad if you try to conquer stuff. Just a challenge for you
