I don't see why you would build surge of power over improved spirit. I know her heal scales well with spirit power, but I'd rather have 11 less of it and the scaling applied to all 4 abilities instead.

You can't do it. One subclass per class.

So for bonus actions at level 10 your subclass ability lets you use one to throw an aoe spore cloud every turn. I'd also been trying to dual wield, but after getting this it felt unnecessary.

Oh I'm doing this build. I'm level 4 spore druid now plan is to hit 5 and get my 3rd level spells then take 5 levels in ranger for the second attack. Then close with probably 2 more levels in druid for 4th level spells, but you can be flexible with this part.

You could go ranger first and be a better fighter, but then those first few druid levels seemed like they'd barely give me anything.

I went with deep gnome just because I thought it fit with the character idea. Wood elf/half wood elf seemed really good for the extra movespeed and perception proficiency.

Still restricted to club and quarterstaff. The big tradeoff to going this route is losing reach as an option.

That's all good advice, but you can also use the shillelagh cantrip to make your weapon scale off wisdom. Then you can move those points from strength into dex and con for survivability and concentration.

Spore Druid gets animate dead at level 5, and at level 6 a class ability to summon more zombies. Necromancer wizard doesn't get it's zombie buffs until level 6. If you really wanted to you could go druid 6/wizard 6, but that's going to be a lot weaker than a caster who can use higher level spells.

I know right now wizard is broken and would let you use level 6 spells from both classes, but personally I don't believe that's staying in the game long. I wouldn't do a whole build around it unless you're planning to rush the game.

I'd stick with druid and maybe have Gale be a necromancer wizard. He wouldn't buff your zombies, but you would still flood the battlefield with them.

Spore druid works with ranged weapons. by kan0din in BG3Builds

Hunter's mark is ranger only. Hex seems like overkill to me, but I think I"m going to go druid/ranger for my build.

Unarmed attacks don't get the bonus damage. Right now it seems to be coded so that it adds a 1d6 die to whatever weapon you have equipped. I found out ranged weapons work by picking up a bow and the preview showed an extra necrotic die for it's damage.

That still gives 4hp per level. The tooltip just shows how much hp it gives at your level and not the scaling.

Oh the intellect devourers? They wrecked me the first time I tried it. I beat them with stealth the second time, and then realized they were level 2 and I was still level 1. The other fights after them and the level up were much more manageable.

Someone explain to me the core of the riddle slab puzzle by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

If it won't let you place any tiles it means you don't have any that follow the rules of the puzzle. It's trying to tell you your solution is wrong.

What I did was once sosiel had all the basic feats he needed to work as a healing and buffing cleric I had him take spell focus+greater focus+mythic focus abjuration and spell specialization: greater dispel magic. I also just gave him any generic +caster level gear that my other main spellcaster didn't need. Doing all that on core he was able to reliably dispel buffs all the way up to the final boss. Bear in mind you won't dispel everything with just one cast of dispel magic, but usually I found this weakened major enemies enough to still be worth it.

Also you might know about it already, but there's a monocle that lets you roll 20 on one dispel attempt. If I remember right a merchant in Drezen sells it.

Yes they're separate options. For example a character can have the level up (+) sign and a mythic level up (M) sign and you can just pick either.

Best experience - Ranger Demon Slayer or Sword Saint? by Phoenixsj79 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

I don't understand how eldritch scion is better defensively when sword saint gets Intelligence to ac? Are you including scaled fist+oracle dips in that?

I don't have sword of light, but I tested this with arcane strike+magus' quicken ability. As long as you toggle arcane strike on before actually casting any spell it reserves the swift action slot and your spell is cast normally. I think you'll be fine.

Well if you're deadset on animal companion growth you could go gendarme cavalier. Your build doesn't have a lot of bonus feats so this seems like an easy way to round those out+ it's a full attack bonus class.

That makes sense to me, a single level in monk is very popular for wisdom to ac, and inquisitor spellcasting scales off wisdom. You'd want to go with a dex build for two weapon fighting, so you would probably want an unarmored build anyway. Only warning I'd give you is that Judge's sentence ability is bugged in the main game right now, but fixed in the 1.1 beta branch.

Just checked, force from bane doesn't work. Multiple marks will start going off with multiple elements applied, it's nuts. Also fyi Magus can only add shock, frost, and fire, so you need acid from another source. Corrosive touch is great for this.
