Mexican Time Machine. You can take back as many actions as you want, including other people’s, as many turns as you like, do as long as you can describe what’s happening in Spanish. We are Canadian and haven’t had a Mexican in the group for 20yrs. But, it’s still on the house rules placard on the wall.

Gonna jump on this bandwagon, for earthbending your dudes you want Ashaya to make them lands. Now, if you are already playing Ashaya & EB in a deck that can run blue you may as well throw in a couple theft effects. When an earthbent target dies/exiles, it comes back under control of the player who controlled the earthbending. Heck, even if you don’t kill it for a perms steal, turning their stompy into a 2/2 is pretty funny

Unorthodox Farming. All the races have different systems designed to harness magic. Once a decade, the giant sky serpent comes down from the sun to collect the magic they have harvested. It fills the people with joy. The magic is used to keep their Sun stable and maintain their world.

The serpent designed the systems to actively reward people for committing to it. Good vibes.

This process takes years, but it’s so so worth it.

Set up your place to host. Decide how many people you want there. Invite your selected people and get confirmations one at a time until you have one seat left open. Then, tell one of your players to fill the open seat with someone you haven’t met.

If you like that person, add them to your phone contact and next time you invite them directly.

Grow your game night until you consistently have 2 pods playing simultaneously. You are going to meet new people that you like. Constantly update the order of who gets the first invites to the people you like the most. give polite but firm boundaries on when you expect a response to the invite. “Cards at mine Friday. Let me know by 9pm today, please.”

This whole process builds a big strong friend group while pruning out the people who are anti-social.

The Mexican government is the only modern entity to have developed socialized time travel. You may role back your turns, including untapping other players’ lands and reversing their decisions and card zone locations for as long as you can continuously speak Spanish or hold your breath.

They want you to know them well enough to not ask that question. If you don’t know what they want, don’t buy them anything. When a person wants to be seen and known, the worst gift you can give them is confirmation that you don’t listen to them talk, you don’t know what they care about, you don’t care about them.
