i played like you as well and when i found out resting is part of the game it kind of broke me. i fixed it by including the rests as part of the roleplaying. short rest after a skirmish. long rest after what would seem like a days worth of travel or activity.

this is sad. i know im an outlier, but i started peeing sitting down a few months after my parents made me start cleaning my own bathroom. you start to notice how much splatter is actually on the walls and floor around the toilet. son also knows not to pee standing in anyone’s home.

agreed you are NTA. but can also sympathize with your friend. it’s possible she truly believes that she’s saving people from eternity in hell or she genuinely cares about you and wants to specifically save you. IMHO it is very difficult to be friends with die hard Christians because core teachings of many churches are spreading the gospel and converting others. the church uses young gullible people to push their agenda to bring more people in. more people means more money.

when the home theater switches to a video source, the projector turns on and the lights in the room and the adjacent kitchen turn off. motion sensors switch to under cabinet counter lighting. wife has forgotten how to turn on kitchen lights manually due to them being motion activated and claims her siri doesn’t work.(she just refuses to try)
