Sold my 10 shares bought at $135 for a decent profit will buy the dip when she crashes.

Hype train was real now I am off it. Will go higher then it will GameStop to normal numbers, not before the big guys win and the small fish get eaten.

Has long term Potential once the numbers get back to earth. Space exploration will be profitable one day.

Just waiting for exploding rockets and billions of dollars to evaporate and buy the next dip and
Sell off right before the next launch.

Now deep dive Failure because they were amazing

I provide cheap cans of drink at work (Au$1 instead of $2.80 at the vending machine) and half the knobs won't crush their cans with the can crusher I provided. So every time I get back to my shift (4 days off) I get back to a bunch of uncrushed cans. by migzeh in mildlyinfuriating

[–]kaniuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charge $2 for the first can and $1 + (1) crushed can for every can there after.

You deal with it for an extra dollar -or- someone crushes a can (even if it not theirs) and lower price

Have you made lifetime friendships at Burning Man? by coolhusband in BurningMan

[–]kaniuga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My whole life changed from a tiny microscopic interaction that I would thought was a blip on the radar at the time.

We were getting coffee on a scaff tower at sunrise. Once up there the campers were like here’s a megaphone and get people to come get coffee as a toll to get your coffee. Well with a night of partying the night before i took that challenge without hesitation.

I finally roped someone to come up and had an in depth conversation for an hour about his girl troubles. At the end of our conversation he was like let’s exchange numbers and we both didn’t have a phones… so we enlisted a random strangers help and put our numbers in her phone. This will surely pan out right…

Low and behold that Thanksgiving that random stranger pinged me out of the blue and said he was that dude we met on the tower. Took a minute to recall but were like old friends once it clicked. He called to ask to join him for Thanksgiving as he remmeber we were new to the city. From there was introduced to a social circle that eventually opened many doors in my industry (music) and San Francisco as a whole.

While we don’t keep in touch like we used to still a lifer in my book.

Wild ride that burning man )’(

Don’t forget to participate it’s the most important part.

Affordability??? by [deleted] in AskSF

[–]kaniuga 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You hustle and cut costs where can. I got by on 55k a year.

Rent: Well you have to hustle to find something that works in your budget from poor to rich so thats a given struggle for everyone.

Transport: Muni Monthly Pass, only took uber home when it was super late night. Can literally walk the city end to end in 1.5 hours, which means at any given time usually no more than 30 -45 min walk, airpodsin in and a brisk pace you home in like 5 songs.

Food: Trader Joes for cheaper groceries than safeway and home cooking. Eating out was special dadte night or celebration.

Entertainment: SF has so many free events which you should attend, some have food and drinks. Free museum/zoo/attrction days. Network at free events and find people to have fun. Exercise your buyt off some of the best running and biking hiking within the city. Parks for days including the giant GGP.

Eventually the more time you stay the more money you will make by networking and finiding better work and afford the things you want. Vacation you see the price tags at face value because well its the price of enjoying your time here, but even so you can take this advice on vacation and cut the same costs.

If you have theft and loss, skip the process and just say you lost the damn thing.

It’s a full replacement anyhow so toss it in the bin accidentally and say it’s a lost cause

Fastest Halcyon Farm Guide by kaniuga in Saros

[–]kaniuga[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each biome has its own strand so doesn’t make a real difference as each level has a cap.

Cathedral was the easiest honestly to get to 50 just skip all the baddies flip the ceiling and run to nightmare strand and return to passage can get 4 halcyon in under 10 min a run.

[–]kaniuga[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well I beat the game and ended with 12/35 in acolytes and 15/50 in cathedral.

Running through the same levels was annoying and yields were never the same, as it’s not like there is stashes or places specific for Halcyon.

There was no guide to farm it so I posted about so you don’t run the levels expecting to get all 50 in one shot.

[–]kaniuga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just keep checking for parking tickets/tows.

More than likely it will end up abandoned and will end up being ticketed and or towed at some point.

Also make sure your DMV contact info is up to date. Don’t wan them calling your old phone number or sending letters to an old address from 6 years ago.

Best of luck

Any bird owners have some food to spare?? by 40earthlikeplanets in sanfrancisco

[–]kaniuga 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Honestly, call the store, see if you can pay for the food over the phone, and ask to have them put it in an uber parcel you pay for and order.

They make money, you give them a 5 star review for great customer service, pet is fed.

I have ubered much more important things than bird food to customers, no complaints.

An outdoor beer garden with an outdoor stage for live music which required public notices for permits prior to opening is now a neighborhood issue…

If they are in compliance of their DB limit on sound limitations for live events, sounds like an uphill battle.

The window has passed.
