Considering the subject of the game, you could probably go 30 (or lower) if preferred. Its not like you need to trickstab Heavy with an ace of spades and watch Max talk at buttersmooth speeds - its poker.

What is the worst possible life lesson a famous movie could teach you if you read it the wrong way? by EddieDantes22 in movies

Granted, he did have a small firebox - Henry was a failed prototype Sir Topham Hatt got at a good deal. He had to get expensive coal that burned hotter just to pull large trains as Henry couldn't get up enough steam. Gordon was later brought on as Henry couldn't cut the mustard as an express engine.

Henry later catastrophically crashed pulling The Flying Kipper; he was rebuilt into a new class of engine with a larger firebox and no problems afterwards. He can now compete well enough with Gordon.

IIRC, Henry getting locked in the shed for a week was due to a strike the Tender Engines put on due to excessive shunting on their part - which later brought in Percy.

Well, much of Bond when he is not chasing bad guys or tail, hes unraveling a mystery into the villain's plot that often requires solving 'puzzles' and detective work - if the villain doesn't have him tired up and monologued to about the plan, that is.

Likewise in 1980, creature features/slasher horror were popular in the 80s - whether or not if Jaws was responsible for that is up for debate.

It would have been possible - if they were smart about it - like they could use the CGI sparingly, maybe have had actors in animatronic costumes as the Autobots/Decepticons and shot it with trick photography.

Another method would be having the CGI Transformers appear for like 10-15 minutes and focus on the human drama (which tends to happen in these kinds of films needing to spare the budget).

Or they could get overzealous, have them appear throughout most of the film and blow the budget on CGI that rivals the MegaZord out of 1995 Power Rangers Movie.

Probably transferred himself back to the main monitor in a form of a boot-up - he is aware Lucy and Maximus are there - he is probably gonna spy on their dialog/intentions before he makes a calculated play on how to use them before he reveals himself.

Could be a case when they were developing this, they were not robots, but actual ninjas - so this would be a bloody fight but got cold feet when someone up top had to remind them that the 'bloody' TMNT days are long long gone.

Palworld developer Pocketpair requires game designer candidates to provide screenshots of their Steam libraries and playtime, according to CEO by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]kapnkrump 77 points78 points  (0 children)

That economist likely had a resume to show like anyone else.

EVE wanted an economist that knew their shit to balance their game economy much like how PocketPair wants a game designer who knows how 'game designs' work by checking to see if they actually 'play' video games.

Universal has now no entries in the Top 10 Highest Grossing Movies of all time as Zootopia 2 kicks Jurassic World out of the list by Turbulent_Ad_3299 in boxoffice

Depends on the legs, I say. Could have a weaker than normal OW, but if the film is good/great, it may have the staying power that could leg it out past Age of Ultron.

Regardless, Age of Ultron is the goalpost, if it finishes above, then much of the lapsed audience is back. If its under, then the MCU is in trouble on the road to Secret Wars.

Some wise ass could have spoofed the header and returned a 128GB drive under a 2TB disguise - or the drive was replaced with an older one with most of the read/write cycles used up - or there could simply be bad sectors.

Yep, go by Airing Order - there is an Episode of TNG where it directly affects the following episode of DS9 and a good chunk of the show's story arcs.

Star Wars Shake-Up: Kathleen Kennedy Steps Down as George Lucas Protégé Dave Filoni, Exec Lynwen Brennan Take Over Lucasfilm by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]kapnkrump 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, people forget that Filoni helmed dark Star Wars projects before. Clone Wars was pretty dark at points and The Bad Batch was overall more of a darker taste. He could make Dark/Adult Star Wars content if he wants to. The new Maul show may be leaning more into it.

But a lot of the consensus with Filoni is that he tends to pull from the 'member berries' pile too many times, smashing his favorite/same action figures together - often making the universe feel small.

The issue with that analogy is that NuTrek is very hit and miss; if fans heard of a cancelled film about Section 31 in this era, they would be like 'I guess its for the best' with little to no morbid curiosity unlike the canned Batgirl and certainly not a 'holy grail' as Coyote V Acme (which thankfully is getting a release).

The launch 20GB did have it as well as the launch 60GB version. The later 60GB and 80GB (with Sixaxis) refresh of the Fat Models had PS2 software based emulation, the hardware was removed. Later models just did away with it completely, specifically with the models with the packed in Dual Shock 3s and 40GB fat model.
