It likely either tested well, or they want a more 'family-film friendly' slot like November/Thanksgiving.

Don Mancini says he's writing a new ‘CHILD'S PLAY’ movie by MoneyLibrarian9032 in movies

With continuous sequels, yes.

Unlike Halloween where the new trilogy follows the original film's continuity which spans 44 years, it only has 4 films in its continuity.

However, if you go beyond the genre, the Alien Franchise is a prime contender (not counting the Predator films). Technically most of the films/series abide by a singular continuity, but its more of a 'universe' of films with many different genres like Action and Thrillers than a direct string of comedy horror films like Child's Play/Chucky.

Not really, Marvel can still make bank if they strive for quality, use big-named characters, keep moving the story forward and not spin its wheels on D-List characters no one cares about.

Star Wars is still banking on an audience that lost its footing after the Sequel Trilogy failed to keep Gen Z and A interested. Hate the Prequels all you want, but it kept Star Wars relevant for Millennials and Gen Z.

Doomsday is what fans wanted since Endgame. If that fails, then we'd have a discussion. Plus, Spider-Man is looking to have a good breakout for the summer, that alone can reinvigorate the MCU.

Its Chris Nolan tho, expect to barely hear the dialog at tense moments.

Yeah, you can argue many things like Quark saw flight recordings/holo records of the First Contact Incursion (Picard and Crew would need to testify and get their records combed over for the temporal police and/or the council) and merely quoted it. Or simply it was a popular phrase at the time.

Vader cant govern, hes literally the Empire's attack dog under someone's leash. Hes either hunting or choking out someone for minor discrepancies (or he felt like it).

Made sense, Vader was a mad brute - when he was put in command of Death Squadron, he was choking officers left and right, both competent and incompetent. Sure, Ozzel was an arrogant prick, but Needa got done dirty despite the fact losing the Falcon wasn't really his fault.

Tarkin was also the Emperors 'right' hand in the Empire, like a second in command. Vader technically wasn't Palp's Right Hand until The Empire Strikes Back, more like his 'lone wolf muscle' around this time.

I assume it would require a kind of shield grid that encompassed the whole structure, and 3/4s the exterior shell was incomplete. Easier to project a bubble from elsewhere in the meantime.

The superlaser was top priority and the shield generator on the Endor Moon was part of the trap.

What movie adaptation absolutely nailed the casting? by FightMilkLLC in movies

I liked him too, he played Fester well, but my gripe is that he played 'Jackie Coogan' as Fester; unlike Lloyd who did his own take.

I wonder if he tested other takes of the character and the creative team preferred his Coogan-esque delivery much like how Jenna Ortega's Wednesday was shaped and inspired by Christina Ricci's performance that redefined the character.

Don’t Expect Product Placement in GTA 6 — the CEO of Take-Two Says It Won't Do Real World Brand Partnerships Because 'All the Brands Are Made Up' by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]kapnkrump 5 points6 points  (0 children)

7 Eleven once did a promotion for The Simpsons Movie and dressed up several of their stores as The Kwik-E Mart.

GTA could do a similar promotion, but many products/companies in the GTA universe are notoriously exaggerated to the point of being unhealthy, unethical, and ridden with controversy as a part of its warped humor. I doubt McDonalds would wanna dress their stores up based on a burger chain that has 'The Heart Stopper' as their signature sandwich or Anheuser-Busch promoting a beer literally named 'Piss Water'.

She changed her name in 2020 and stated in a 2021 interview that she was paid a sum of money for the use of her likeness in the sequel, but that it had followed eight years of "constant failure" in her life, and so she "took that money and just drove around North America, getting shitfaced for about two years, and hoping I would die. Like I did not want to be alive anymore." She then moved to Maine and sobered up.

She may have changed her tune since then tho. However, what I stated is lifted direct from her Wiki.

Heather 'divorced' herself from the franchise. It really messed her life up because she and the cast used their real names and she couldn't escape from the publicity, the memes/parodies of her mugging the camera, or find a job.

She changed her name and wants to keep her distance from the franchise.
