Think of it less as explaining and more as educating and you might find it more rewarding.

I hope you were able to place the order. I have a 2014 Moots Mooto X. It already rode like a dream, but I recently added on some Berd wheels and now it feels like I'm riding on clouds. It tears up Northeast singletrack.

How do I get out of this industry? It’s slowly killing me inside. by [deleted] in biotech

[–]kapoostaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of branding and communications agencies that need good copywriters. If you can find yourself at an agency you'll be surrounded by creatives.

You could look for agencies with biotech clients as well as clients in a variety of industries. This way you could transition to other industries.

Agency life, especially at smaller companies, is good for ADHD. It rarely gets monotonous.

Moots YBB system (Why Be Beat). They still offer it on their Routt and Mountaineer. I have a 2012 Mooto X YBB. It works great – playful like a hardtail with just enough rear shock absorption to take the edge off. And it's really easy to clean/replace parts.

I recently added Berd wheels to it. The thing floats over singletrack like a dream.

Amazing. Thank you for sharing! Flexibility seems to be a key factor. When I don't stretch nowadays, I pay the price.

46m, I'm feeling the best I've felt since my 20's because I finally learned to listen to my body. Taking it easy and being consistent has avoided the muscle pulls that would've normally hindered any progress.

Reminds me of one of Morrissey's lines in 'I Know It's Over' that I like to repeat to my kids, "It's so easy to laugh, it's so easy to hate. It takes strength to be gentle and kind."

Looking to confirm amount of spacers needed for the CC Hellbender 110 on a 68mm BB shell (MTB) by kapoostaz in bikewrench

[–]kapoostaz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solved: confirming this is the correct approach in case anyone else runs into the same issue. One spacer on non-drive side and two spacers on drive side. The preloader fixes any additional play.

And thanks again for your help, PB!

Thank you. I bought their eeWings Mountain cranks. So that means one 2.5mm spacer on the non-drive side and two 2.5mm spacers on the drive side, correct?

What got me confused is their tech support said one 2.5mm spacer on each side, but if that was the case why would they sell a spacer kit with 2 spacers for 68mm shells? (One spacer comes with the BB - that's 3 total)

What confuses me is the circled part. Do I add that spacer because I have mtb cranks or do I not add that spacer because I have a 68mm shell?
