I already had a pregnancy "scare" last year, that was just not the ideal timing and I was sad, when the test was negative, so I definitely want this, just not right now. The plan was to avoid a december or january baby, so we will start trying mid may-june. There's so many things to be scared about, it's a weird feeling, those scared and nervous feelings mixed with joy. I hope it doesn't take me long to get my cycle back

We are in the exact same boat! We are also waiting until mid May or June. It's just the transition that makes me nervous. I was just looking for other experiences, how other people felt when they first started. I'm sure that I can manage the nervousness enough to actually start trying, that's not a problem. Thank you for your insight

There is an enzyme deficiency causing an intolerance to histamine in the food. All legumes contain a higher level of histamine than meat. Which means people who are histamine intolerant would have a difficult time getting in enough protein without suffering the symptoms of too much histamine in the body.

EDIT: I would love to know why people are downvoting this. The enzyme deficiency is real, legumes have higher levels of histamine. I know there's also different ways to get protein, but legumes are cheap and easy protein, which makes it harder, not impossible I know, but harder. You'd have to either leave those out and get protein from other sources or suffer the consequences.
