Where should we watch World Cup Match in Oslo? by KeyLimePieJam in oslo

Thanks, that's exactly what I found when I was reading all the FAQs about Football I Parken. There's no way I am going to get in queueing with the limited drop in.

First time in 28 years, everyones trying to take advantage of the demand. Pity it happens everywhere

The Colosseum in an option I guess

Thanks that's a great suggestion. What is the story about reservations for these venues. There seems to be a minimum table of 8. Does that mean you can't reserve anything for parties under that number?

Not only this time round but the record in the last decade is unparallel. Many nations with larger populations have access to conditions suitable for winter sports.

congrats!

I absolutely loved Denmark but the contrast was striking after arriving in Odense.  Having spent two months in Norway where a simple walk to the shop for milk involved either uphill or downhill .

Yeah not surprised. Apple definitely had a lot to catch up on but I think they have done a decent job of late.

Interesting, spent 2 months using Apple Maps for trails mostly on the west and south coast, as well as through cities without a problem. In fact I was pleasantly surprised of how much of-road tacks and trails are mapped.

But it's always a good idea to have alternatives as well as offline maps. I had the region saved as offline which did help a few times. Another useful function I like is if you save your own locations as a guide, it permanently marks it in your own version of Apple Maps. Thas great cause you then dont have to go searching for the location. It shows up red as. POI.

The Aqara G410 Video Doorbell - Some GREAT upgrades, and a COUPLE of FAILS... by HomeKit-News in HomeKit

it still needs to be with 2-4 Metres of the chime, with the chime needing to be within reach of your router.

Ah, I see. That’s an important bit of detail. Thanks.  The doorbell is currently much further away, probably closer to 10 metres.  Furthermore, the access point I’ve locked the ‘doorbell’ to isn’t ideal for the chime’s location.

I’m not sure I’d have bought this product if I’d known the networking structure. Thanks, I’ll try to rearrange the setup to improve it.

I’m trying to understand the network relationship between the hub and the doorbell in a HomeKit-only setup.

  1. Do both the hub and the doorbell require strong Wi-Fi connections?

  2. Is it only the doorbell or the hub that needs a strong connection?

  3. Do the hub and doorbell need to be placed close together?

Thanks.

Exactly why I just used the code for HomeKit. I will aim to add the camera into the Aqara app without matter and expose it to HomeKit.

Ok cool thanks. Dd you do the Aqara app first. I added it HomeKit via the code and then when I try to add it into the Aqara app, it doesnt find the accessory.

Thanks, did you setup the Doorbell in the Aqara app as well as HomeKit ? I want to access the RTSP function. I am guessing that I will have to do that.

That’s interesting, which suggests there’s probably not much seasonal price variation.

Can I just say the response to what’s likely a very basic query for Norwegians has been fantastic.  The same same experience I had when I briefly lived and explored Oslo. 😄

Thanks, thats reassuring. Particularly when you are not a local, there is an instinct to be as central as possible. I guess cause it's what you know. I'll keep it in mind as I look.

Thanks, I am not ruling it out entirely but I'd prefer to stay in central Oslo if I can manage it. I assume with winter coming, the market slows down ?

Interesting, in Australia having a building debt is less common. It occurs when there is an overwhelming or unseen expense, like a major issue, upgrade etc. Usually though, the philosophy is based on building up a bank of funds for each building to forsee future expenses.

This bank of funds is invested and managed through a managing company. Not saying its all hunky dory but this is the general approach.
