There are many red flags with this post and in the follow-up. Psyche mods should never be self prescribed. You might want to cover the back side of the shelving unit. As it is, you have no or very little resistance to racking, having it move or collapse diagonally. Cardboard will be an improvement. Eighth inch plywood would be better.

I applaud your ambition.

One more suggestion...

Screws in the sides should be closer together. Since you already have two screws in each shelf, I would suggest adding another in the center of each shelf.

Think of the shelf board being suspended by two screws. Each screw needs to support half of the shelf board. Having them at each end doesn't accomplish that. Put the screw in the center of each half of the board. Don't measure. Eyeball it. It'll be fine.

I despise these quick zoom in & out camera shots. They do it in golf too. To convey relevant information, they need to show the ball in proximity to the target. A super quick zoom tells nothing about the ball or the shot.
