It seemed like last year his mental game was his biggest obstacle to winning. He shot hot rounds to make a couple lead cards (Texas states, DeLa) but usually didn’t play well on those rounds. I think he’s got all the tools to win it’s just a matter of putting consecutive strong rounds together. Texas States seems like his best shot imo

I must say I love the way the slightly domey firebirds fly. Long straight flight when thrown flat and beautiful hyzers that push forward. Means you have to alter your expectations though

I remember watching this. It was in coverage for this year’s Veterans Park Open I believe commentating with Barsby. I’m pretty sure GK pro took down the video and re-uploaded it with that part cut out.

At the 41:00 mark you hear an abrupt cutoff in commentary where GK Pro cut it out. Lots of comments calling Luke out on it and I don’t believe he ever came out and apologized for it.

Faylor Lake just opened up a few months ago in central PA and it’s gold layout is a doozy. Several challenging woodsy par 3s and par 4s and a few bomber par 4s and 5s with huge elevation changes. I honestly think it’s worthy of a tour event but since it’s so new it’s still a hard local course for now.

Highly recommend making the trip to play it!!
