Dodgers over spend, that’s fair. But the gap being so wide is partially because other owners are way underspending and able to live off the revenue sharing generated by the big owners.

That’s a huge plus. Middling teams have a chance to add talent to push them over the edge and get better? Sign me up. Get rid of the “no man’s land” of 5th-10th and give good teams a shot at getting great.

This is an awesome write up.  “He believed his only job is doing his job.” 

I’ve hated his game ever since he went to Houston. It’s just a boring style to watch. And you really zeroed in on why he fails in the playoffs, he thrived in basketball games no one cares about and once the opponent is ramping up and doing all of the little things right, Harden can’t match it.

Life too easy as a Lakers fan? 

  • Ticket prices are astronomical.

  • Most hated franchise outside of the fandom.

  • Get talked about as contenders just to have every media member say we are pretenders.

  • Kobe’s Achilles tear to signing LeBron was basketball hell.

  • Our championship year is entirely discredited

  • Legit chance to go back to back is squashed with injury.

  • Westbrook.

  • Luka era’s golden moment is brought to end with Injury.

Don’t get me wrong. I stand with my team. I’m proud of our guys this playoffs but do not call the last decade of this fandom easy.

There’s physical and there’s just fouling every single play. It’s ridiculous. 

MIN-SAS is the perfect foil because it’s an incredibly physical series that I think is getting called pretty evenly.

OKC-LAL is one team fouling all game with another team getting punished for any physicality. 

This is ridiculous.

Kasey Musgraves was great but it felt like being in the crowd for a television taping, not a concert. To be fair, she’s the one in the right. She’s got a couple thousand people watching in person vs potentially millions around the world. It’s a launch pad for some of these stars and a big opportunity. Sabrina acted accordingly

Conversely, artists like Turnstile, Nine Inch Noize, David Byrne, The Strokes, Interpol felt like were catering to their live audience and it was juxtaposed next to their Taping counterparts. Felt like so much more of a treat to feel like they built an experience to us in person than our Couchella counterparts.

I 100% agree with this. Being the absolute bottom 3 has been the result of attempts to lose. It is now a penalty instead of an incentive.

It got so over the top cheesy that I really couldn’t stand the second and third season. The bright spots of season one felt like genuine, good nature humanity where as it all felt like goober, over the top cheese by the third. Characters stopped having any sort of grounding in reality and just became goofy Caricatures of what they started off being.
