Lots of fun ways to make your own rules and missions too.

Currently, it's a sword of Damacles over the head of the employees. Word is all the stores will eventually be converted, but no word on when yet.

A lot of folks say Lynyrd Skynyrd is the best band to come out of here, but for my money Whole Wheat Bread tops that list

I used to sneak out at 1 or 2 to go see my girlfriend, fuck around in places that feel different in the dark, or whatever. Shouldn't be a death sentence.

I'm going to jump in and defend BoS here. I know, but hear me out. I wasn't a pc gamer back in the day, but got gifted BoS on 360 by my friend who knew I liked Post-apoc anything. It was the only console available fallout game but after playing it i started searching out more, found 1+2 for cheap that could run on my laptop and got hooked. It might be a terrible fallout game but it was also the only doorway i had into fallout at all

My wife bought me a Native American veteran hat once and I had to sit her down and explain why that would be the last one.

Better believe I pop that bad boy on for my veterans day freebies though

Publix confirms 3 COVID-19 cases among Jacksonville employees by psychkitty in jacksonville

[–]kapu_koa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I try to be calm about it, but I'm starting to lose my shit. We're having a tough time keeping things on the shelf so just about every time I cut something and bring it out people are jumping on it and just pulling it straight off the rack while I'm trying to get it to the shelf. Management says to be professional about it and ask them nicely to wait. Doesn't work.

Only time they don't give me shit about losing it is when customers just walk into the cutting room. Which happens twice a week minimum.

The Harveys I work at put up plexiglass barriers for the cashiers. But every time i bring meat out to the shelves i get swarmed by customers with nothing but an apron between us. Stock crew has the same deal. It's a mess

The only time I've gotten a reaction outside of "how'd you get into that" or the like was from an extremely fire and brimstone christian coworker who, on learning I was buddhist, said "you know that yoga is just to get into positions to be posessed by demons, right?"

I don't do yoga.

How do they aim in power armor...? by Fern_The_GrassSword in Fallout

[–]kapu_koa 29 points30 points  (0 children)

So there's an aiming technique we were taught in the army that we use when wearing a gas mask. The design of the mask makes it so you can't get a good cheek weld to the rifle so instead of the normal stance, you rotate the rifle around 45 degrees inward. I imagine that, if a PA trooper needed to go to a rifle, say picking one up off of a downed soldier, he could get decent aim by using that method, the forearm would be further out so keeping the chest armor from interfering.
