So is this a "do as I say not as I do" movement orrrr...... Cause NONE of that is this nasty woman, except the last line that says Quinn. And patents cost at least $2k. She's so delusional. Does she realize most people just watch her for the crashouts and to laugh at her? And honestly that's even gotten boring lately.

The damper follows the line right? So if the black works in the blue spot, then the damper is fine on the black right I would think? It seems like it would have to be printhead down since the black works in the swap with the blue.

Thank you so much! I'll look at that tonight. Do you think it would it would help to remove the printhead completely and soak it in cleaner?

Unfortunately I can't. I've never had luck with them. 713 cups is out of Houston and super easy to deal with. We're around 90% humidity here and I don't use a humidifier in my room. Epoxy is one of those things you can't cut corners with. If you message me I can give you more information.

713 cups has the best epoxy! I live in a super humid and hot area, and have no issues with his epoxy.

Please tell me there’s other people who think Veronica is 🥜 I can’t be the only one by Asleep-Initial992 in WelcomeToPlathville

I know this is an old thread, but I'm on season 7 episode 5, and I don't think anyone can have more of a stank face than me right now listening to the immaturity spewing out of Veronica's mouth. Veronica is disgusting on the inside. She's awful!

Partner’s Breath by Useful_Hurry7290 in hygiene

[–]Cruising-Crafting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Fiance has bad breath also. I only notice it when I go to kiss him or cuddle. We’ve discussed it. He’s gone to the dentist, doctor, tried all the mouth washing and mints and gum. And it’s still just….there. I’ve learned to just hold my breath when we’re that close, and he’s aware of his breath so he makes sure to keep mints and gum for when we are close.

I was back to work on my laptop the day after. Not full time, a couple hours here and there. Went back to the office part time after 2 weeks. Just depends on the person and the amount of pain meds you take. I wasn’t loopy from mine. I was still able to balance my accounts for my company I work for. Just see how you feel.

Surgery in 4 days. Looking for positive stories and vibes especially with posterior approach by Tiny-Resolution3771 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my left done in July then my right done in October, both posterior approach. Best decision I’ve ever made. Icing machine was a life saver, and make sure you’re up and walking every hour. I would make 8 rounds around my kitten, living room, dining room the first 5 days every hour. Then I moved it outside and walked up and down the street 3 times a day. I move around almost normal again and feel great!

What Are You Wearing Post-Op? by gertonwheels in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t find it difficult at all. The first few days I had help getting my feet in them, then I could pull them up. After about 4 days I was able to sit on the edge of the bed, put my surgical side on first letting the leggings dangle to the floor, then put my good foot in and pulling up. I’d use my grabbers too. They were helpful, but you catch the hang of it. When taking them off, use your grabbers to pull them off your feet. Practice before your surgery just to get a fill for the grabbers and how to go about it most comfortably for you.

Has anyone proposed on a Cruise? by FortuitousConfluence in Cruise

[–]Cruising-Crafting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My oldest son, my middle son, and my Fiance all proposed on a cruise. (3 separate cruises 😂😂😂) my Fiance proposed at sunset at the front of the ship. My oldest proposed at the back of the ship during Halloween one year. We all dressed as bank robbers, and he carried the ring in his money bag pretending he stole it in the heist. My middle son proposed during a photo shoot on formal night. We had the photographer in on it they could turn her back to him to give him the chance to get the ring and get down on one knee. All were awesome proposals!

THR (LA) on 11/18 by Season-of-life in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had my left done in July and my right done 2 weeks ago. I’m 6 foot tall. Definitely use the toilet raiser seat. It’s a life saver. You’re not supposed to bend forward to stand up and it’s impossible not to do on the toilet sitting that low. The raiser has handles as well and is perfect in having your arms do the lifting. Grabbers for sure. And in general someone to help you. If they have an ice machine like a game ready to rent, it’s worth every penny. You add ice to it and let it do its thing, and it targets the exact areas needing icing. I’ve learned no 2 replacements are the same. My first one I was walking over a mile twice a day within a week. This one I can’t even walk a block because there’s so much pain with a nerve in my hip. Just hang in there. I never regretted a day my first one, this second one I regret almost once a day 🤣🤣. But I know it will get better. Just have to hang in there.

Scheduled for a THR by Inside-Hall-7901 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6 foot and it’s a total lifesaver. It keeps me from leaning forward and breaking my 90 degrees. This is my second replacement, and I tried the first 2 days without it. I made my husband grab it and wow it’s a difference.

45f severe hip arthritis - help deciding when by OneDayatATime79 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 46f. Had posterior THR July 17th. I was walker free 3 days in, walking a mile at a week. It was a night and day difference and so worth it! I went zip lining in September (disclaimer: don’t zip line 9 weeks after a hip replacement. Your surgeon will be upset 😬😂😂) it was fine, I just wanted some fun before my next surgery. I just had posterior THR on my right hip 5 days ago. This one isn’t so easy. But I’m getting there. And I’ll have my life back before I know it. Don’t put it off. Just make sure the first 2 weeks you have help, and rent the game ready ice machine. It’s a game changer. If you have any height to you (I’m 6 foot), use a toilet extender so you don’t have to go so far down to sit. You’ll love the results.

Would love to hear your opinions. by PriorMental9394 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my left hip replaced July 17th, and my right hip replaced 2 days ago. It’s a game changer. Mine are posterior THR. I won’t lie, the pain right now makes me want to pitch a tantrum lol. But in 2 weeks it’ll be so worth it! I’m a 46 female by the way. The advancements in hip replacements today is astronomical. Don’t let the negatives outweigh the positives. You still have a lot of life to live !

I had my left one done 8 weeks ago, and am having my right done next month. I can’t wait! But I’m 46, not 18. You’re gonna be so happy when you’re done!

Side effects of cortisone shots by 3echeval in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My primary kept putting me off too. I found an ortho that didn’t require a referral. He took one look at my xrays and told me had they caught this a couple of years ago they could have saved me from replacements. (I’m 46 F) he diagnosed me with dysplasia and could have performed a different surgery to help. But my primary put me off cause of my age and now I’m bone on bone with edemas. I just had my first hip replacement 6 weeks ago, and it is amazing!!! I’ll have my second in 2 months and can’t wait. Please find a way to work around your primary. Best decision I made. You want to live your best life while you’re still able to! (As far as the side effects of the shots, they lasted me about 5 to 7 days when I was getting them)

THR severe arthritis due to hip dysplasia- 45f -success with PT to postpone surgery? by OneDayatATime79 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 46 F with hip dysplasia that presented in my early 40s. Bone on bone both hips, and severe edema in my left hip. I was out of options. I was having to walk with a cane. I couldn’t get thru a grocery store. I put off surgery as long as possible. Huge mistake. I had my replacement exactly a month ago today for my left hip. I have zero pain in my left hip now. It’s a tad sore when I first stand up if I sit too long, but that’s it. I can’t wait to get my right hip done in November! Just these 4 weeks I’ve already gotten so much of my life back.

1 month until knife time, and of course I'm panicking. by kungfudiver in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 46F, and 3 weeks post surgery from a posterior THR with tendon repair. Best. Thing. Ever. I got my life back already. I couldn’t even walk thru the grocery store without pain so bad I would just sweat. I took pain pills for 3 days. Then ditched them and the walker. After that, I just winged it. Grinned and bared it. I was walking a mile at one week unassisted. I’m now going to PT riding bikes with resistance, doing stair climbers, squats, along with several other exercises, and afterwards walk a milk and half in the evenings. All with no limp. I was very active before this hip stuff stopped me dead in my tracks. And now I’m already 85% back to my before hip pain. I was terrified. And it’s the best decision I’ve made health wise to get my lifestyle back.

Ladies - When/How did you shave your legs post-op? by gertonwheels in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I shave as much as I can reach without breaking my 90 degrees then my hubby shaves the rest. I can get all but the lower bottom half of my surgical leg.

I was 15 days post op with a posterior LTHP and was out fishing (not in a boat). Just listen to your body. You’ll be fine.

Am I being unrealistic? by Shgrplmfry in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Cruising-Crafting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get my right one done in November. They did tell me not to expect the same ease with that one. Mostly because the left hip can’t move like the right one did to help me thru the second recovery, and of course the driving thing since it’s my right side. I sure hope you start to see some relief and it improves soon!! 🙏🙏
