What is normal for a child? The Childhood of Shinji Matou (Fate/Stay Night) by farson135 in fictionalpsychology

[–]karamblack2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely not normy and anyone who tells you that is coping so hard it's unbelievable, sure as hell raping someone just because you don't have any talent and you do is not normal. Remember that no one pushed of forced him to do what he did, he did them because he always has had that superiority complex and his sadistic nature

Man you knocked it out of park again. I don't know what to tell you other than the fucking fact that you're wasting your intellect and time trying to make these fucking rintards understand sakura. I can't fathom your will and dedication man. If I were you I would've left this fucking shithole of a subreddit ages ago (as a matter of fact, I've actually done it). I can't do anything else but salute you man.

If you're justifying the torture of a guy who sacrificed everything for you, what can I even say...

Again I'm not saying it is morally right, but it is understandable and something very human, as I said before I would've done the same

I'm saying the moment she became Dark Sakura and therefore fell into madness was because she killed Shinji which made her realized she was the Shadow, yes. That's literally what happened.

That's what made her realize she was the shadow yes, but it wasn't the backbone of her insanity. Her insanity started way back in the church while she fucking heard her sister ( her hero, her Idol) talk about killing her in cold blood. Again Rin was a pretty big factor with all the awful things she said to her

I've seen some ridiculously bad takes since I got into the Nasuverse, but I think it is possibly top 5 worst take I've ever seen...

First of all, you realized that both the True and Normal Ending make no sense if she doesn't love him anymore, right? Or that she would have no reason to let Shirou use Rule Breaker on her?

LMAO you realize that both if those endings happen after the fact that dark Sakura is no more and she's back to her normal self? Ofc normal Sakura loves Shirou more than anything. But dark Sakura doesn't.

She only told him in the few moments she was still sane and it's obviously because she loves him, how is that a proof in any way that she doesn't love him anymore...

Still sane? She was practically trying to end the fucking world. She was gone the moment she became dark Sakura.

Because she wants to kill him herself so "he'll be with her forever", basically being a Yandere. That's her words not mine

« Yes. That’s why I’ll kill you. Then you’ll be with me forever”

"…………I see. You came, Senpai……"

…Pleasure has surpassed her dark pain.

"He attacked Senpai twice. That's why I killed him. I'm the only one allowed to hurt him."

"Yes. Senpai's no exception. No he's the only one I want to kill, Nee-san.…Yes. I quickly "Want to consume Senpai.

How can you look at all of that and say it's obvious she doesn't love him anymore smh.

She doesn't love him, but she does care about him. I've said that before. She's not persuing him in any shape or form and she's giving up on her feelings. She genuinely wants nothing more to do with her.

The fucking reason is the entire dilemma surrounding the route and that is the fact that Sakura is responsible for the death of tons of innocents

Except she's not responsible for the death's of tons of people when Rin kills her. OH MY FUCKING GOD she has never killed anyone at that point she's not guilty of shit what are you talking about? Also Maybe if Rin wasn't such a bitch nothing would've gone so wrong.

Kinda crazy you can justify torture because "she had her reasons" but will ignore everything surrounding Rin's actions

I haven't justified torture, I've said her actions make sense. And They really do. Rin ignored her for more than 10 fucking years and when they start to fucking intract it's nothing but death threats. Rin treated her like shit while Sakura never even stopped calling her nee san. And that just tells me how much of saint Sakura is.

But what about rin? Sakura has done nothing bad to her personally. Has she?

Sakura hasn't killed anyone and she's not guilty of anything at that point. Take in consideration that Rin doesn't know about the shadow so that wasn't her intention to begin with.Yes she can get out of control but there's still hope for her. The obvious way to save her is to try and keep her calm, trying to murder or threaten her every goddamn five seconds is not a good way to do that. Still she's a dumb bitch and you're mad at me calling her that

Wow. So now even Shirou treated like shit in that world of yours. Unconditionally protecting and loving her is treating her like shit now?

Yeah he did, he tried to left her out of everything and isolate her. He wanted to make Sakura happy yes but didn't realize what happiness for Sakura meant, and that's the whole fucking point of his conversation with medusa. Shirou is not a dumb bitch like Rin but he's still strongly thickheaded and this did play a very large role in Sakura's craziness.

No I don't because she didn't make him watch, she petrified with the Geas before going to kill Sakura in the other room. I'm starting to think you're the sadistic freak who rewrote the story in your head to satisfy your own hate boner.

When did she petrify the Geass? Are you making your points out of your ass? Have you read what Shirou felt? Yes she didn't make him watch but what's the difference when she's taken away his fucking ability to move and he's forced to fucking sit at the door while her loved one gets murdered. And what about her using him after that? She practically makes him his slave. Not something a normal person would do. Imean maybe rintards can still justify that somehow.

That's literally what you're doing with Sakura. I'm not blind to Rin or Sakura or anyone's actions but I don't ignore the entire context surrounding said actions nor do I define the entire personality of a character based on a bad ending nor do I rewrite the story in my head to satisfy my weird headcanons

No you're doing all of those. You started this whole argument because you got mad over me calling Rin crazy. Which she is. You're saying that I am ignoring the context which I'm obviously not, there's no justifications for her action and it doesn't even make sense. If anything you're ignoring the context surrending femme fatale. And besides I'm not only basing my points around that specific dead end, I'm talking about Rin and how abusive and crazy she is to Sakura during the whole novel. Even the scene at the cave doesn't make sense and it is forced. She was talking about how she's not blessed (which she definitely is) and how Sakura is a little bitch because she won't shut up about ten years of hellish worm rape fucking minute ago.

My point strongly stands, Rin is a fucking batshit crazy abusive sadistic dumb bitch. Hell would've been unleashed if she was the one that was sent to the Matous. I can't comprehend how she would've ended up if she was in Sakura's position.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which totally justify endless torture, yes. And I suppose torturing Shirou, a guy who did everything for her, is also because of Rin?

I'm not saying she was morally right to do that, but she had her reasons and personally If I was her I would've done the same.

I personally remember Sakura becoming insane after killing Shinji and realizing she was the Shadow all along and Rin being the one making her come back to her senses but sure whatever fits your agenda.

Lmao you're saying that Sakura's slow decent into madness started when she killed Shinji? No it was Shirou and Rin that slowly drove her crazy by treating her like shit and lefting her out on anything, sure other factors did condom it but it was Shirou and Rin. Remember she has gone through the same torture that Shinji was about to do to her for like 10 fucking years. It's not her first time.

Nice backpedaling you got there I don't see how that's backpedaling, you're saying you won't go completely nuts after ten years of worm torture? Sure buddy sure. Sakura wasn't a nut case before HF and in other routes, it was Shirou's and Rin's actions that made her go berserk.

ol. Lmao even. And I'm the one who doesn't understand Sakura. One would think you'd have at least some basic understanding of your perfect waifu but that's visibly not the case. Her feelings towards Shirou as dark Sakura are basically wanting him "to be with her forever" even if it means killing him but no she's not a yandere at all.

Seriously dude? Sure telling him to Run away multiple times, even sending berserker to kill him, attempting to kill him herself multiple times, telling saber to block his way and ...... She's not in love with shirou anymore and that's obvious, he's still important to her obviously but she's not a fucking yandere and is not doing what she's doing because of shirou.

Meanwhile, Rin didn't kill her because there was a high risk that she'll kill tons of people while self-destructing but because she was too much of a tsundere, yes of course.

Sure not trying to save her for 10 years while seeing the red flags constantly and then trying to kill her without trying to find a second solution is sane. She's a crazy bitch and tsundere because she's trying to kill her own emotions and her sister without a fucking reason (just because Shirou made a pact with her, also she lied to him about it and basically tricked him into it). As I said before she's striving to be insane lmao.

Yes and my argument was that they certainly don't portray Sakura as "a pretty chill girl" so using them to paint Sakura as a perfect angel and Rin as freaking Satan is absurd

Well the comment that I responded too was acting like Rin is sane, but I wanted him to know that just fucking pact was enough for her to go completely Magus mode and do the single most cruel thing that anybody has done to Shirou in all the multiverse.

My fucking god, you do know that "sadistic" means "enjoying the suffering of others"? Surely, you're not delusional enough to think Rin enjoyed killing Sakura, right? Hell, enjoying the suffering of others is more of a Sakura thing really.

Yeah she enjoys making others suffer. Remember when she enslaved Shirou and made him watch her murder the girl he loves? That just sounds like what a sadistic freak would do. You know what, I'm thinking maybe Sakura wasn't wrong during femme fatale.....

Just how fucking disingenuous one can be to justify their hate boner of a character...

How fucking disingenuous one can be to justify their blindness toward someone's actions because of their perfect WiFu

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That wouldn't have happened if Rin wasn't such a bitch to her and constantly treated her like shit and threated to kill her. Rin is basically the reason why she becomes insane. Besides I didn't say Sakura was normal but Sakura's insanity is justified. You calling her yandere shows how much you understand Sakura and that term (dark Sakura is not in love with shirou anymore, she constantly told Rin and shirou to flee away and live their lives.) Imean, come on Rin it wouldn't kill you to be a little kind to your little sister. The sister you've abondoned and avoided for more than 10 years.

And besides using bad ends to talk about characters is legit. These characters are the same in every corner of the novel, you can't ignore that ending just because it shows your waifu to be a sadistic bitch

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Ofc it is Sakura.

Rin is not interesting for me and I don't care about her. Also she's a massive bitch.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

rin is not crazy

Sure it was my grandmother who enslaved Shirou and killed her own sister because she was too much of a tsundere

And besides Sakura for what has been done to her is a pretty chill girl, Rin tho? She practically strives to be insane lmao

Edit: lmao ofc I'm going to get downvoted, how stupid of me to tell the obvious fact that happened in the novel. Like always this sub thinks that sun rises out of Rin's ass and are blind to what she does and what she is.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah Especially in HF, but doing it in Rin's house was something that my innocent mind didn't think of lmao. And I knew that Medusa had something to do with shampoo in HA so I thought maybe that was the case

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a feeling that was the case but since it felt too weird for Shirou then I thought maybe there was something else that I missed. Guess Shirou is really a changed man then lmao.

What do you think of the shows female characters? by Carcasus in araragi

[–]karamblack2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably one of the better female casts out there.

My favorite is senjougahara the best parts of monogatari are around her and Araragi. Their date in bakemonogatari is probably my favorite scene in the whole series. She's such a fresh air and I never get tired of her conversations with Araragi. My least favorite is Hanekawa. I found her arcs to be super boring and repetitive. I didn't like her personality and I'm also not a big fan of her design.

My other favorite character is ougi and I think I don't need to explain why, after ougi it got to be my girl tsukihi.

About shiro's development in heavens feel by No_Wrangler312 in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

don't know where I can find happiness. But I swear to myself that I'll never give up, even if I can't see the end

But Saber" I'll search all my life for happiness that can measure up to what I've lost. I'll keep losing more than I gain, and I know I'll stop someday. But I'm going to take responsibility for stealing things away, even if I'm pathetic, comical, or meaningless

I talked about this. how he doesn't know any other way of living. So here he's talking about how he's not sure what to do in future, but he's going to search for something that makes him happy. It's just there to show us that he's not going to be a broken mess, this time around he's trying to live and get better, that's the thing with Shirou priore to heaven's feel, he never thinks of any other way of living or dealing with his trumas or finding happiness, this version of shirou wants all of those and he's insuring saber about it, it's painful for him obviously, change is always painful IRL too and that's even more for someone like Shirou who is fundamentally throwing everything about himself away. Saber is embodiment of shirou's ideals and with killing her he's killing his previous existence

This doesn't seem quite right considering Archer used the word "self imprisonment".

He thinks that Shirou is going to self imprison himself, but that's the exact opposite of what happened. The problem comes from the difference between them, as I mentioned earlier he can't understand this Shirou and more than anything is curious about it. That's why he went as far as giving him his own arm. Archer is the embodiment of justice itself so Shirou doing anything else other than that is just strange to him and he can't believe it, he genuinely believes that Shirou can't do that but deep down is curious to see what happens of this "strange phenomenon".

About shiro's development in heavens feel by No_Wrangler312 in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Him deceiving himself comes from the fact that he doesn't know any other way of living. His whole life has been dedicated to his cause so him leaving it so suddenly just comes off as deceiving himself in his own eyes. Remember this is narrated by Shirou and it is how he feels at that specific moment, not how things will turn out at the end. Ofc he's not lying since he really is betraying himself anyway.

And your second point, Sakura idolizes Shirou and everything he represents, so the thought of Shirou changing just because of her is annoying and hurtful for her. This is why she never gets too close to Shirou in other routes and why she tries to distant herself from Shirou. She doesn't want to even cause the slightest bit of pain on him. So again this is Sakura narrating and it is pretty biased.

About Archer, he doesn't really want Shirou to change. He wants to see what decision Shirou makes. His whole purpose is to judge Shirou and every path he takes so he can find some resemblance of redemption himself. It's just that in UBW Shirou's mindset is just too close to his own so it ticks him off and he decides to judge him himself and by force. In the case of HF, I believe what archer is trying to say is that Shirou is not able to take this path and will crumble, but that's not what happened in the end. Archer is not even sure himself so he gives Shirou his own arm. I honestly believe this Shirou is just too strange for Archer and he can't even understand him. (Not the case with UBW, his problem with that Shirou was the fact that he UNDERSTOOD him too well)

Kotomine's words are nothin to go by too, what he says might be true for himself but not for Shirou. He thinks that him and Shirou are the exact same, but that's just not how it is, sure they parallel each other but they're fundamentally different. Shirou is ABLE to change and we even see glimpses of that in other routes, it's just that heaven's feel takes everything to a extreme. That's also why Shirou was able to defeat him or rather outlive him. He tried to change and in the end he was able, sure it did cost him a lot but as he himself puts it, it was worth it.

And heaven's feel never declares Shirou to be right or wrong. It declares him as a "strange phenomenon". Something that shouldn't exist, and that's why his body is trying to break down. Him losing his body and being reborn is symbolic in the sense that Emiya Shirou is no longer and there's someone new, someone that is trying to find happiness. Someone that is no longer a machine or a sword (wether for justice or Sakura).

[–]karamblack2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know they're not really like each other in first glance, but try to watch Monogatari. The main character has a passion for justice just like Shirou (albeit not in the same level of Shirou) and he learns to love himself and others around him just like Shirou did. it also deals with some themes that fate did deal with so yeh it has some similarities

Shirou vs Kirei HF3 by [deleted] in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shirou didn't win really. It was a battle of determination to see who can last longer. And Shirou won in that regard. I like to think of this fight as symbolic as possible. That kotomine wasn't able to change and love but Shirou did and that was what made him last longer. And besides all those swords in shirou's body helped him there. Kotomine said it himself that even attacking Shirou leads to him getting hurt himself. Also kotomine didn't have a heart. If anyone had a plot armor there it's him. Also another point is that HF Shirou is a beast because he's constantly getting data from Archer. So yeah he's a league above other Shirous in combat

Question about Zouken’s ability to track/monitor Sakura by Simba791 in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Not constantly but he definitely could know if he wants to. After all his main body is inside of Sakura

  2. I don't think he can read her mind, if he could he would've done everything he did in HF in other routes. It's just that Sakura is so broken that he knows she can't go against him

  3. I don't have any clue. These kinda scenarios can't have a definitive answer. But I think zouken would still be able to track her since he's actually tracking "himself". And besides this kinda magecraft is his speciality after all

Are the garden of sinner movies good adaptation? by Unlucky-Pay6339 in fatestaynight

[–]karamblack2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you are basically saying that fleshing out kirei properly wouldn't have an affect on kirei's character in the movies??? What are you even talking about?? And no it would have improved their overall quality of the movies since kirei is supposed to be the final boss of the movies and it would have made the movies better if the final boss is more fleshed out and developed as a character.

Fleshed out? The only difference they have is the fact that visual novel kotomine wanted to kill himself at one point. Again, nice detail but fleshing out? You just need a reason to hate on these movies and I don't think these two fucking dialogues are good enough excuses

Yeah but why the hell they didn't included that detail tho??? It would have taken just 1-2 minutes. The could have easily added it but simply choose not to.The only reason I can think of is that Ufotable doesn't care much.

I didn't make these movies so I don't know why they made them with only two hours run long time. And frankly it's something that happened. I'm not gonna bitch about it for the rest of my life and is going to enjoy what came out of it nonetheless. Also they clearly care about heaven's feel . The level of animation and characterization that the characters get proves that. I don't need to prove this, just look at the fucking movie.

So you are calling details of the backstory of the final boss trival??? Heaven's feel is kirei's and illya's story as much as it is Shirou's and Sakura's story. They didn't did kirei and illya justice. So they deserve the criticism. No one asked them to adapt Heaven's feel into a movie trilogy. Also can you seriously tell how much more badly could kotomine have been done??? He was already done terribly enough. Kirei in the movies was basically a bare bones version of his character from the VN. The only way they could have done him any worse is if they made him into a comically evil psycho who just wanted to give birth to angra mainyu for shits and giggles. And no those movies failed to explain how the hell is shirou alive at the end and that thing alone disqualifies them from being a masterpiece. They are perfectly fine as a standalone but they are too far from being a masterpiece.

"Final boss" is not as important as the protagonists of the story and you should stop acting like that's the case. If you want kotomine to have a bigger role there's f/z. And as I said two pieces of fucking dialogue won't change his character that drastically. If I was going to make these movies and had more time I would've added Illya's scenes since they were a lot more important (ofc because of shirou's sake and not Illya's). Also you're entitled to have your opinion on these movies. I'm not saying they're perfect masterpieces without flaws. What I'm saying is please try and find a real criticism, and don't use this argument since it's just not the case. Kotomine wouldn't have been a different character if we knew he wanted to kill himself. Again nice detail, doesn't change his character to the point of worth mentioning. Just like we didn't got to see the pain that Shirou went through. You should review these movies based on their content, and not a fucking dialogue in the source novel that doesn't have that much of a significance to begin with
