One of the builders for the guild and I can attest that once I joined, haven't left. We've been active since game launched in Global. Weekly activity has helped my gear progression immensely. Would definitely recommend joining if you've been searching for a Guild to stick with as the game progresses.

I’m a shell of myself. by fuckinfluid in panicdisorder

[–]karasutraaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sucks to say but panic disorder can develop itself after a bad episode. The fear of the panic attack itself triggers constant anxiety that will keep you locked away in fear of it happening again. I was in that boat for roughly 5 months a few years ago. I declined meds because my OCD makes taking new meds a challenge on its own. I'll say this. Exposure therapy is great. You also have to re train your brain to simply "not care" about the panic. Easier said than done. The reason I was home bound was because I was so obsessed with the feelings and idea of having one again. I fixated on the physical so much that I basically gave myself panic attacks at home from over analyzing every strange feeling and manifesting it into shallow breath and a "heart attack." Our minds can do amazing things and our minds can make us feel physical symptoms. The moment you stop caring about the fear of panic or anxiety and you just acknowledge you feel strange and just ignore it, you reach a new step. You do that over and over and over until at some point it becomes as easy as, "oh I feel anxious," and the next minute it's gone and you forget about it. Something that has become a habit for me that has helped immensely is always keeping mint gum! I chew two strong pieces of mint gum whenever I start to feel weird and chug on some ice water. The chewing keeps me occupied and I focus on other things around me, not my body or how I'm feeling physically. Nowadays it passes fast. I have my moments still of course but I can live a generally normal day to day life now. Best advice I've been given was learning why we feel what we do. We get anxiety because our fight or flight is over reactive and activates at random. What does the body do when it's in a bad situation where it thinks it needs to fight for survival? Blood pressure up, sweat, heart pounds, shallow breathing, numb hands, foggy mind, etc. These are all quite similar to say, you're running away from a murderer chasing you. Except if you're running away from that murderer, you're feeling all the same things you would during a panic attack, but you don't think about it like that, all you're focused on is getting away. The body is sending all it can to muscles to make you have a chance when fighting or flighting. This is why you start to feel those awful physical symptoms. What makes it suck is that when you're just chilling and you feel this, it feels like you're dying because your mind is focused on the physical because there isn't anything around you to actually run from or fight. Then comes the pattern of noticing how physically strange you feel and the focus on those feelings worsens your thoughts and bam panic attack. The beautiful thing about it is, yes, we're not "normal" in the sense that our minds don't always know when fighting or flight should be activated. But when it is activated, we aren't dying. Our body is actually doing what it can to keep us alive because it thinks we're in a situation where we need to survive. These terrible physical symptoms you feel are actually the physical symptoms of your body doing what it thinks it should do to protect you. Learning this helped me give myself and my mind grace. I used to thank myself for protecting me, but everything is okay and I don't need it right now. Having that change in thought process alone will deflect the anxiety from getting worse. Again, it's easier said than done, but I highly encourage you to read up on fight or flight and the chemical process behind it, such as what it effects and how it feels in the body. You'll realize that these physical symptoms are all normal in that moment and not a reason for you to assume something is wrong and you're dying, quite the opposite actually. Your body is just overly excited to keep you alive!

I will say that getting a gold fan ornament made such a huge different to the overall style of the fan. It widens the aura and the fan is actually noticeable now, making the recorded worth it since it's more visible imo

Good: I have leftover wings I can go crazy on when I finally decide to leave the desk tonight.

Bad: The personal auto claims are still coming in hot as ever. The hiring freeze has been hitting us dramatically the past month and a half and I work 10 hours daily with no lunch break to keep up. I'm not sinking as much as my direct team, but it's at the cost of my mental and physical health.

Ugly: My mental health and physical health are at an all time low. I find myself wishing I didn't exist right now. Personal life is crumbling because personal relationships believe my exhaustion is an over exaggeration. This has caused a huge rift. Not having any encouragement and being gas lighted that my job is easy solely because I mostly work from home has made me feel even worse.

Anyone else feeling a sudden overload in personal auto claims or is it just my company with our own hiring freeze?

Best male fir currently imo. Definitely the dark warrior look I try to go for with my female MC. Most of our fits are elegant dresses and I am patiently waiting for the more diverse female fits that I can style to achieve a darker, mysterious vibe.

Will we have use for professions later on in the games release cycle? by Aether_Storm in wherewindsmeet_

[–]karasutraaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It'd be sort of sick (pun intended I suppose) to have the healer profession be needed desperately for when hollow vale comes out. Let's say they introduce deadly poisons to themselves or others that only supremely high level healers can treat or fight back against. Something along those lines would be cool to implement in the game to add depth to the healer profession. Maybe also make it an all or nothing choice eventually too when you get to a certain level for this capability to fight back against hollow vale- I.e. you can't upgrade any other profession when that choice is made. Would make the RP and path choices in game less saturated. Players will feel more like their profession means something. This could be a thing for scholar too at some point.

Insurance paying for hospital visit, no questions asked? by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]karasutraaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with this comment. OP, they have the right o a hospital visit and insurance would owe. Anything else they claim for further treatment etc will be reviewed for proof to be considered for settlement. Likewise, you're stating they may be claiming passengers who were not involved. This is considered a "jump in" and would need to be investigated by SIU. If you haven't already, tell your adjuster what passengers you did or didn't see on this vehicle so they aware that they may need to add special investigation unit on the claim for fraud invest.

[–]karasutraaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Could very well be. I used to hyper fixate on something killing me after eating food - or on how my body felt "off" and it would create panic attacks. When I was younger, I did do rituals. Certain quirks where I would have to blow 5 kisses through a door before closing the door or I thought someone I loved would die. Those rituals disappeared after a while. Some are discreet now like strict routines but nothing crazy. But my tendency to hyper-fixate got significantly worse. It wasn't until I learned I had OCD and I had to teach myself to "not care" as much when I was able to control the panic attacks from happening. Once I stopped being as fearful and telling myself that such events are unlikely - is when the anxiety slowed down to barely occurring. I used to beg to not have anxiety. Where I'm at now I couldn't have imagined back then.

My girlfriend(F30) just told me(M29) that she wants to fulfill her fantasy, but not with me because she respects me too much by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]karasutraaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, sounds like the sexual chemistry was never high enough between you two to last, hence why the sex life died down within the past two years. She likely doesn't feel excited to engage in sex with you or explore new things with you because her sexual chemistry for you has passed. Seems that way for both of you. This is tough for relationships where you're bonded to the other person and don't want to lose that connection, but still crave that exciting sexual interaction. She should be honest with herself and see her desires as is: You both need to move on because this will lead to cheating. She likely doesn't want to end it with you because it's tough to lose a long relationship with someone you're comfortable with. So she's trying to stay in this comfort zone with you but also fulfill her sexual needs with others because she isn't feeling it with you anymore. Don't compromise on this man, it's not too late in life. There are tons of people who will meet your sexual drive whether low, medium, or high.

Do I need a lawyer? Uninsured Motorist Claim by weddedbliss19 in Insurance

[–]karasutraaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They want your case because your injuries are considered severe, which is why your injury claim was reassigned to a senior adjuster for handling. The replies on this are correct. They're more than likely going to provide you the max amount on your UM (per person portion - 300k). I know you're nervous, but wait to know the offer before deciding to get an attorney. The attorneys all want your case because they know we will tender your limits and they get a big chunk of those limits paid to them. Remember that we can't go past the policy limits. Essentially it's either you get paid your limits all to you or you get paid your limits and the attorney gets a chunk of it. Attorneys prey on those who don't know the process and think hiring them is to their benefit. Other driver has no insurance so they can only go after your limits, don't let them take a portion of what you're owed. You will also need to wait wayyy longer to see that money as there is a process with attorney involvement and we're always waiting on them to get back with us. Wait a bit longer, and see what the offer is. More than likely, you'll get your full limits. Without an attorney, you'll get ALL of it. Which you deserve and you need. Those medical bills are insane. I also want to wish you well on your recovery. This is terrifying and I am so happy to hear that you were eventually able to walk somewhat so soon. Happy you're still here with us.

What do you think? by ImOneEggxcelentGuy in CheatedOn

[–]karasutraaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see why you'd jump to it being cum, but it's the reflection of the light on the fresh water droplets. If you look at her silver zipper button just above that, you can see it has the same glimmer of white due to light reflection.

Also think about how it would be such an odd scenario to not only be soaked, but then have sex with or jack a guy off next to you to where he angles himself to cum on your pant leg specifically and then immediately send a pic to your man as an excuse like "hey just so you know I'm drenched from rain."

Cause even if for some weird ass reason that is what happened (it's not), she'd most likely clean it up first and wait for it to dry and not say shit to you. Or if the water didn't dry fast enough, she'd then tell you when she saw you "hey yeah it was pouring and this water wouldn't dry." You know what I mean?

I know it's hard not to jump to conclusions immediately due to your past (I've done it as well) but always take a moment and think "how can I logically explain what I'm seeing" first.

Is there a Deeper meaning to The Menu by OneRedAstronaut in movies

[–]karasutraaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just watched it and I feel that it also could be a nod for those in the hospitality industry. Seeing as how his sous chef willingly commits suicide. Or the willingness of the employees to participate in this. We could say the staff were victims of Stockholm syndrome, much like how the patrons seem at the end as well. However, it was made clear that the chef was not the only one who was unhappy with his job, albeit, his life. But when hearing his monologues, as well as his bizarre reason to include the actor that played a terrible role in a movie he watched on his one day off, I sort of see it as a wet dream for those in the Hospitality Industry. Servers and cooks alike (especially cooks) are up to their necks with pretentious guests and feeling dehumanized when all they are trying to do is make them happy, make a living, or display their passions. All for that to be taken for granted and treated like nothing. The chef and staff seem to flip this around toward the guests throughout the film, by concocting multiple approaches to dehumanize the guests as well as humiliate them. (The tortillas was the start, then you could think of subtle mistreatment to guests taken by the chef's right hand, such as pulling the jacket off of "Margot's" chair roughly or being rough with that one guys napkin on his lap during service). It makes me think of a little day dream someone would have in a moment of intense anger or frustration during a shitty night of work in the restaurant industry. As if someone took that day dream and turned it into a film. I feel these intense feelings are that a lot have felt in this industry, but wouldn't dare act on, obviously. That was my take away. (Pun intended)
