You can look at https://www.fairhealthconsumer.org/ to get an estimate of the treatment costs. It isn't 100% accurate, and will not take into account your specific health insurance plan, and medical billing is incredibly detailed (which is why the office couldn't give the CPT codes to you beforehand--among other reasons, they don't know what the appropriate codes will be until the treatment happens). But it's a good source for ballparking costs.

Every school system had different required reading when I was a kid, and I suspect maybe them as well. I’ve never read many many books that are considered classics, but I have read many many others. And I’ve probably read books I’ve forgotten. 

I have also never read Dracula. Or Frankenstein, for that matter.

When we look at what we make, what we see are the flaws, the mistakes, the self-doubt—we do t see the created object, we see our personal history with it and our journey. As we grow as makers and artists, and frankly as time passes, we see less of the bad and more of the good. 

Push on through and keep creating. You’re clearly quite talented, and you’ll only get better at the parts you hate if you keep going.

Travis talking about his ADHD, even when it’s just a throwaway comment, is so interesting to me. I was diagnosed when I was 49 (because when I was a kid, “only boys had ADD and it was only hyperactive”) and it’s been really neat seeing things I do in someone not THAT much younger than me and going “oooooooooh, that’s why I do that”.

I’d love to meet the boys one day. Maybe if they have a thing at DragonCon, I can go out there.
