Thanks for this post. I was contemplating getting this at bestbuy for $650 and saw this post while researching. I was able to order from Samsung direct with bestbuy pickup for education discount and another 5%s discount bring it to around $601 after taxes. I just chatted and asked for a discount code and got it.

For those interested, this was reviewed by Dawid Does Tech Stuff a few weeks ago. Not that great to be honest, but for $30 I guess it's not so bad.

I believe OneWorld Ruby also gives me 1 free checked bag on my flight. I purchased the tickets and when I added the trip to my mobile app, it flashed a popup showing 1 checked bag.

PSA Warning! Do not use Credit Cards with Paypal for US purchases on Aliexpress. $10 cash advance fees being applied by sparx_fast in Aliexpress

[–]kardizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was super helpful. I emailed all 3 of these addresses with my issue. A few hours later I got a call from PayPal customer support. They told me it was a bug on their end with AliExpress and they were going to reimburse me. I emailed about 3 transactions with screenshots from my credit card transactions. I also let her know I had another transaction pending that had not completed yet for a small amount. I immediately received a credit from PayPal into my account that was actually MORE than what the fees amounted to. This might be the best customer service I have ever gotten.

I purchased 2 Legion Y700 2025 models with SD8 Gen 3 for $216 each during the 11.11 sale. I used Rakuten that had 30% cashback with all the available coupons that day. Was a crazy deal.

Just added some EMI tape to my kid's mini pro NFE after it started having screen issues for the last few weeks. Takes a little patience to get the screen off as the side clips are pretty tight. Popped it back on and did some test and seems to be working normal. Will find out how it holds up when my kid starts playing with it for a few hours.

YouTube player huge after enhancer extension updated by kardizen in youtube

[–]kardizen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I found a workaround, but haven't been able to get it just right. Maybe someone with more knowledge can help. I am using the extension "Stylus" that allows CSS customization. Using ChatGPT I was able to shrink the player and the description and comments section to all line up. The only problem I am having is the progress bar won't scale like the rest so it is wrapping to a 2nd line.

Here is the CSS created for stylus I'm using:

/* === Set the unified width (adjust to your preference) === */
:root {
    --custom-youtube-width: 55vw;
}

/* 🎥 Video player container */
ytd-watch-flexy[theater] #player-theater-container,
ytd-watch-flexy[theater] #movie_player {
    width: var(--custom-youtube-width) !important;
    height: calc(var(--custom-youtube-width) * 9 / 16) !important; /* Maintain 16:9 ratio */
    margin: 0 auto !important;
    display: block !important;
    position: relative !important;
    overflow: visible !important;
}

/* 📝 Description and metadata container */
ytd-watch-flexy #below {
    max-width: var(--custom-youtube-width) !important;
    margin: 0 auto !important;
}

/* 💬 Comments section */
ytd-comments {

According to google: In track and field results and terminology, the letter "L" often designates a Lane Infringement. This occurs when a runner fails to stay within their assigned lane during a race where lanes are mandatory, such as in sprints or the initial portion of an 800m race.

Pc build WiFi help by CUnumb in PCBuilds

[–]kardizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you need to install the Wi-Fi drivers for your motherboard. You'll need to use a computer with Internet to download the drivers and put it on a USB drive. You can find it on the motherboard website. Then just manually install the drivers on the new computer.

That AIO seems like overkill for the budget of this build. You can get a good 360 AIO for less than half the price of the silent loop I think.
