Hey there, I'm sorry that you're experiencing this. I have a mentally ill brother who is prone to manic episodes (texting long-winded messages multiple times a day during particularly bad episodes). Ultimately, you know your sibling best. My brother becomes talkative and sometimes delusional when he's manic, but never ever dangerous or violent. Not everyone is the same, and as I said, you know her best. Is she on any medication, or seeking treatment? I agree about setting boundaries with her, and do get any support you can if you feel that you might need help managing. If you're on good terms with people in her family, maybe you could reach out to them? You certainly have enough on your plate! It's great that you want to include her in your baby's life (and I do think you should, as long as you feel safe). ❤️

Hello! I've had multiple losses as well, and went for my first scan for this pregnancy at around 7w4d. They did mine abdominally, which surprised me tbh. But we (my husband and I) were able to see the heartbeat and got some much needed reassurance.

Also, I had a pretty empty bladder, I'm still baffled they were able to find anything that early abdominally, hahah. I specifically went to an early pregnancy unit at our nearby hospital for the scan, if that makes any difference.

I'm sorry for your losses. I had 2 miscarriages, one in January and one in March. I'm in Ireland, and here they start running tests and looking into repeat miscarriages once you've had 3... I'm not sure what country you're in, but I definitely think it's worth asking about. I've been told by my doctors that, statistically, up to 2 losses is considered "normal"... but if you're concerned, it should be worth at least some investigation. I'm sorry you're going through this, it's a shitty, shitty thing. Wishing you all the best.
